I first heard them a couple years ago at a show, they were great

the problem with them is they've lacked a solid vocalist until now

i listened to that new hour of penance song, very average, and production is kind of overbearing and a mess. why do people like this band?

yeah I hate that type of production, it's like theyre trying to make everything as loud as it possibly can be

Honestly, the vocals and drums are too loud, the guitars are too in the background.

Hopefully they fix this on the album, cause I cannot tell what's going on.

you can tell if a mix is **** even with the extra compression
mix will still be **** on the album
but yeah it'll be more listenable
