I'm posting this from a PC. Both have their uses. I grew up on Apple's though, I never touched a PC until I was like 10. It's what happens when you grow up in the print and music industry I guess.

would probably get a mac if I could afford one tbh, not like I'd be missing functionality by switching with what I use it for

it depends on how you take care of it, if you treat it like shit it won't last long

It's a closed environment (they control the hardware) so OS X is generally more stable than other OS's. OS X is also built on unix <3
and the laptops are pretty which is why most people get them

for example it would be really cool if my computer wasn't dying an extended death right now and spending probably 30 minutes a day trying to fix things that keep fucking up

I bought an Ipod from a friend for like twenty five bucks once but had to use a friends Itunes to put music on it. Then I sold it and went a bought a used one for like 45 and it came with no papers or anything so I assume you have to buy Itunes to load music onto it? I just took it back.

I don't know. buying ipods used sucks. It came with no chords or anything so I would have had to order one and it's much easier to go to Walmart and pay 50 instead of 200 dollars for a mp3 player that holds just as much. I'm just pissed the Ipod I bought had no chord or anything.
