Six Foot Revolver 09-28-2005 03:23 PM

I have 2340 rep.

Shadows 09-28-2005 03:25 PM

I have 174.

Six Foot Revolver 09-28-2005 03:29 PM

I remember when Jom used to have 20,000 :p.

Jom 09-28-2005 03:32 PM
I remember when Jom used to have 29,763:p.
Really? Me too. I'm over 10% of the way there

Fine, keep your stars you pretensious bastards.

Six Foot Revolver 09-28-2005 03:34 PM

Oh the good ol' HUGE YELLOW WRITING rep comments.

Jom 09-28-2005 03:35 PM

To be honest, my favorite rep messages came from Symphony_X. Dargon, in his day, had some entertaining ones as well... but hands-down Symphony_X would win any rep comment awards show in any category where I wasn't nominated.

Six Foot Revolver 09-28-2005 03:36 PM

I remember when Lord Dargon said to Thor "thank you for signing up for neg rep weekly". That post made me laugh for a good five minutes.

Shadows 09-28-2005 03:37 PM

My rep comments were always boring as I tried to be serious. I would always be amused by Dargon, because people would always post bitching at him for what he said.

Six Foot Revolver 09-28-2005 03:38 PM

I liked Dargon but he did go too far with the death to poseurs crue though.

Shadows 09-28-2005 03:39 PM

I was gone during that whole ordeal, so I don't know what happened.

Six Foot Revolver 09-28-2005 03:41 PM

RCA started a crue called 'Death to poseurs' and then dargon started taking it a little too seriously. Then me, Joe and Bobo waged war against him and then he left MX.

The End

I thought that Drew's thread insulting Dargon was funnier, although some of the things Bobo said were hysterical.

Of course, due to the new filter, the title reads:

"Dargon, get the sand out of your omnibus."

Shadows 09-28-2005 03:44 PM

Sounds complicated. I figured he would go insane with a 'Death to Poseurs' thing. He was always so mean to people about that stuff. :(

Lord Abortion 09-28-2005 03:44 PM

Hey folks...flying visit here... so I'm gone...it's taken me an hour just to catch up on Dialup after a couple of days away, so, I'll see you tomorrow...school has broadband...

Haha i remeber what he neg-repped me for now. I had Arsis = teh emo as a user title and he neg repped me for that, and neg repped me for my Unholy Thrash Metal user title.

Good times.

Shadows 09-28-2005 04:00 PM

He never neg-repped me. Me and him usually got along pretty well.

It pissed Dargon off so much for some reason. I remember him begging you to change it :p. Going over old times is fun.

Arucard 09-28-2005 04:12 PM

Well, i'm off to bed as my essay is finished. Goodnight everyone.

...I wish Dargon would return :(

Six Foot Revolver 09-28-2005 04:14 PM

Good night Joe.

That's only because you want to join the death to poseurs crew.

Kurtz 09-28-2005 04:26 PM

Dargon must be one of the only members in MX history to say he was going to leave for good and actually mean it.

NP: Dillinger Escape Plan - Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants

I hate whoring that band, but anyone that hasn't checked them out yet needs to soon.

/rep talk

A yes, the bi-monthly talk about rep AND Lord Dargon, it's like a two-fer!

*puts on reading spectacles

I was but a child, and my sense of humor earned me the reputation of a blooming high school basketball phenomenon. Eventually I had recieved the highly-desired four stars and became a BAMF. Soon, I recieved humorous reputation comments from such users as Symphony_X, Lord Dargon, Jom, and various Pit kids. It made me giggle to an extent and I can't believe I just said that. The point is, that I had rep, it was good, and that era and time in life is over. I must now deal with the fact that I suck.

Actually, screw you guys, I'm going to band practice

EDIT: I'm so horribly late, it's not even funny. But I haven't done a stroy time with ICB lately so there we go.

ATM 09-28-2005 05:25 PM

Well, I just brought home my cello :)

It's pretty hard to play, though. I kind of thought I could just pick it up and immediatly start playing some beautiful melodies :-/

I'm looking online for lessons right now.

morrissey 09-28-2005 05:26 PM

I was thinking of picking up the violin but I was deterred for the same reasons. Good luck, I hear it's a very tough instrument. But beautiful.

Bartender 09-28-2005 05:28 PM

One of my flatmates of last year quite out of the blue bought a violin on eBay one day. To this day I've no idea why. I don't think she has, either.

Shweet.

Yeah, you can't just pick up any instrument and automatically play it like that, man :p .

superpeer 09-28-2005 05:39 PM

I did pretty okay the first time on a banjo, I played it like a guitar though and it didn't sound Western enough.

ATM 09-28-2005 05:43 PM

DuesExMachina lives near me and plays the cello, so I think he is going to help me find a teacher.

I rented it for 6 months for 100 dollars. Not bad at all.

They said I can rent a violin for a year for only $85 :-D

No, I hate it too. It looks kind of obnoxious to me.

ATM 09-28-2005 05:57 PM

It looks like somebody is shoving their thumb in your face.
