I'm applying for uni as we speak and I work shifts at work. Basically when ever they want me in they phone up.
It's kinda dry just now so I'm going to have to look for another job.

Which unis ?

Just got my GCSEs to do.

I've just got no money to pay for digs just now and my folks won't pay for them either.
If I decide to stay on for a second year (if I get in) then I can always try and get a second year flat if I've got the money.

I'd treat Uni as an all or nothing endeavour.

Either go and do it for the full course [3,4,7 years, whatever] or just don't go.

Zowe can you not get a loan to pay for accomodation and stuff?

I'm not like that, if I go and don't like it, I'll leave after the first year. I'm not going to stay and do something that I don't enjoy.

Yeah I could but that's the last option. I'd rather pay for it myself than have to worry about paying back a loan in years to come.

trust me. get a loan. i am currently in uni trying to do it that way. it doesn't work.

I guess, but my point was, going for a year is a great waste of time and money.


Getting a loan is great, it's the easiest, cheapest loan EVER, it's practically free money. It gives you so much freedom and independence from budgets and alike.

You pay it back with an interest rate equal to inflation, hence you technically got given the money for free.

man, my maths stats exam is on on wednesday and ive lost my textbook, so i cant revise atm, its slightly annoying

lucky for some, my first exam was on monday, and ive got maths core 2 on monday next and then maths stats on wednesday, but ive lost my stats book :(

Well, i just found out that due to strikes that one of my exams is off, and the other 4 have crap papers done cause the lecturers didnt bother to write any so they contain material and formats we havent done.

Aye I'm still a smoggie through and through but I'm always in awe of Henry's brilliance.

Oh and I've got my last day tomorrow then GCSE's next week. Which is strange as I'm actually gonna miss my school. As much as its a chav ridden hell hole I'll take with me a load of good mates and some fond memories.
