You know you need more help than professionals can give you when you look to Mr. T :p

TheNowhereman42 03-15-2005 11:54 PM

I want to make a copy of that for every emo kid in the world

Brain Toad 03-16-2005 12:06 AM

If I listened to all my music from the # to Z, non-stop, it would take 33 days, 14 hours, 44 minutes, and 11 seconds.

DrGolovaCroxby 03-16-2005 12:12 AM

42 days, 3 hours, and 54 seconds.

PWN3D.

How dare you have more music than Mp3 Jesus!

AndreTheHyena 03-16-2005 06:51 AM

3000th post. I shall squander it by saying...at work tonight a drunken Spring Breaker kept referring to me as Roots Radical because of my Rancid shirt. He was pissed cuz we didn't have whipped cream, and he'd be like, in meathead frat-boy voice, "Yo, Roots Radical, you seriously don't have any? Damn". It was silly.

Also, in regards to the mp3 discussion, I am positive I have more than you. I have a hard drive back home in MO, one down here in FL, one with a friend, and about 200 mp3 cds. I just don't have them all in one place. :upset:

Nocturne 03-16-2005 08:15 AM

I just stabbed myself in the eye with a loaded toothbrush. It's the weirdest feeling ever, it burns but it feels minty fresh... mostly is burns though :upset:

I'm not even that clumbsy, but it takes a special kind of person to stab themself in the eye with a toothbrush. I blame the phone ringing and me wondering whether it might be an emergency.

sketchyjoe 03-16-2005 09:13 AM

I only have 13 days, 9 hours, 36 minutes and 36 seconds.

misfitsandcider 03-16-2005 01:39 PM

cheers

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 03-16-2005 01:43 PM

I think there's a Dropkick Murphys thread knocking around somewhere in the first couple of pages. You could ask in there if you don't have any luck from this

DrGolovaCroxby 03-16-2005 01:45 PM
****, how many songs do you have?
10,348

Brain Toad 03-16-2005 01:46 PM

You must have long songs then, because I have 16000+

DrGolovaCroxby 03-16-2005 01:53 PM

average length is about six minutes.

EDIT: and that's with all the Anal Cunt songs.

Let's Chop Cats! 03-16-2005 01:55 PM

I have like 9 days of music that's on my pc.

Brain Toad 03-16-2005 01:59 PM

16083 is exact amount. I'll find out the average track length once the actual playlist loads, since I use media library.

Average Track length: 3 minutes

That's probably why yours is longer in time.

Mine also contains comedy and spoken word, because if they werent in there I would never listen to them.

Forest_Fire 03-16-2005 02:49 PM

Right now I have about 5 days of music, but not all of my cd's are on my computer and not all of my mp3's are in windows media library. I'd estimate at around 7 or 8 days total. And I only have 1438 in my media library right now :upset:

but when I'm as old as you guys I might be about caught up

Unseen/Brain Failure/Ramallah

I saw The Unseen/Brain Failure/Ramallah yesterday. It was truly an awesome show. Brain Failure sung in chinese and they rocked. The Unseen's energy was amazing and I really enjoyed the show.

They have 3 more left, so this may or may not change your mind on whether you want to go.

AndreTheHyena 03-16-2005 03:11 PM

I really dislike the Unseen.

RevengeOfTheVillageIdiot 03-16-2005 03:16 PM

they arnt really very good

on an added note, i am the proud owner of some shiny new creepers

Nocturne 03-16-2005 03:38 PM

I don't care what you guys say, The Unseen are awesome. lol

They are one of my favorite bands, but no band is everyone's taste.

AndreTheHyena 03-16-2005 03:39 PM

For some reason they leave a nu-metally taste in my mouth.

Nocturne, are you on myspace?

Nocturne 03-16-2005 03:42 PM

Yeah I am.

Nu-metally? I can't see that at all. but I hate dayglo abortions, people seem to like them and I don't get it. *whispers*I also don't really like the sex pistols

AndreTheHyena 03-16-2005 03:46 PM

Erhm, never mind on that myspace thing. For some reason I thought you were someone I was already friends with on myspace but I think I was mistaken.

I love the 'Abortions.

AndreTheHyena 03-16-2005 03:48 PM

And it's no crime to not like the Pistols. Not as many people do as you would think.

RevengeOfTheVillageIdiot 03-16-2005 03:50 PM

but they are the greatest thing since the wheel

AndreTheHyena 03-16-2005 03:51 PM

Your mom's the greatest thing since the wheel.

RevengeOfTheVillageIdiot 03-16-2005 03:54 PM

well obviously, that should be taken for granted

Nocturne 03-16-2005 04:12 PM
I used to like them a lot actually, when I was first introduced to them. I started listening to them less and less, now I think they sing about the same stuff all the time and are a pretty shallow band imo. Every band has got their critics though, I know they're pretty well liked.

albert_bass 03-16-2005 04:37 PM
And it's no crime to not like the Pistols. Not as many people do as you would think.
I didn't enjoy them very much, but today I've been listening to NMTB on my mp3 and I'm starting to like them, apart from the obvious songs Anarchy in the UK, God save the queen and Pretty vacant which I liked before.

AndreTheHyena 03-16-2005 04:47 PM

Yeah, I really dig Bollocks, I think it's a great album. And the whole mythology of the Pistols and their social impact on Britain, it's all very interesting. I'm a fan of the band, I was just sayin' there's a lot of punx who aren't.

Anti-Prefix 03-16-2005 04:49 PM

I wasn't too obsessed with the Unseen before either. However i have LCC and So This Is freedom? I figured they were going to put on an awesome show, totally different than their albums and they did.
I loved them.

Forest_Fire 03-16-2005 04:50 PM

Every four or five months I'll come across the Bollocks cd and think "They aren't that bad..." and then I'll listen to it for about a week before I get tired of them for a while.

albert_bass 03-16-2005 04:51 PM

I know, I know. But I took profit that you were talking about them to say that now I'm starting to enjoy them, because I said several times in this forum that I never liked them at all.

AndreTheHyena 03-16-2005 04:52 PM

Ah, right on.

sketchyjoe 03-16-2005 04:57 PM

The Sex Pistols are pretty average. They're not terrible but not brilliant. They're very influential but it annoys me how they're seen as the be all and end all.

And Sid Vicious was a useless junkie.
