Yeah, I shouldn't miss a whole lot, I mean there are going to be a lot of people still gone from the long weekend ...

No recordings, though ... I have a huge project/paper due on Tuesday, and I have to work tomorrow night, so I'll have NO time to spare. I shouldn't even be talking on here right now, but I am kinda reading at the same time...

Gino 11-28-2004 07:49 PM

Greetings, fellow bass players. Gino here, letting you know that it's time to welcome in a new member to the bass forum community, making his ever-special first post in the Casual 18 thread.

I've been playing for about a year now, and getting deeper and deeper into the world of music and the nature of my chosen instrument gets more fun and interesting every day. Since it seems that we as musicians would possibly share such sentiments, I thought it'd be a good thing for me to become a part of this very informative, and over-all friendly online community. So cheers to that!

Yes... so I'd say that's a pretty decent first post. Now to spam. :naughty:

PaulSimonon 11-28-2004 07:50 PM

Glad to see you. Hope you stay here with us, and don't leave.

bottlerocket 11-28-2004 07:52 PM

Heyy guys...I'm finally back for a while (I hope).

Welcome, Gino! I'm Gav...need any help, just ask me.

So anyway, I've been incredibly busy with life and such...how goes it on the forums?

hey gav
any progress in life? or still dealing with problems?

Gino 11-28-2004 07:59 PM

Aye, thanks for the warm welcome, fellas.

Sidenote: I am, in fact, skimming over those rules right now for anything different from the usual online forum rules, since they're all pretty similar.

PaulSimonon 11-28-2004 07:59 PM

We've missed you joe, and while you were gone, I helped a member buy an L2000... I had to pick your G&L fetish.

Anyway, how is everyone else doing? I've been so wrapped up with that pesky "real life" I haven't had any time for MX...but the majority of that is sorted out now.

JoeDaddio 11-28-2004 08:00 PM

Well, if you're going to have a fettish... it might as well be a G&L one. It's good to see that Panda isn't the only other G&L humper we have in here besides me.

Yeah, Gino, they're basic except for a few things.

bottlerocket 11-28-2004 08:01 PM

RTL: Stuff is sorted out, man. Got a new girl (we folded down the back seats of her truck tonight :naughty: I tell no more), friends are coming back, parents are ignoring me again...it's pretty sweet.

Gino: Yeah man, it's pretty much standard courtesy and stuff and stuff to avoid fights (versus threads, etc.).
