yeah put off his work for too long will probably run through his discography at some point

Maeror Tri and Halo Manash are probably my favourite dark ambient projects
Halo Manash are excellent. Their live shows are an experience as well:

Been on a real Forseti and Die Weisse Rose listening binge lately.

Meatplow 09-26-2010 09:35 PM

I didn't think they would have live shows. I think we've had this conversation before.

listened to all the Throbbing Gristle studio albums now, discography is good. won't tackle the ridiculous amount of live material they've released all at once though, Heathen Earth was fucking great though (the version of Still Walking on there was particularly enjoyable)

Meatplow 09-27-2010 12:17 AM

I can see SPK's Machine Age Voodoo becoming a favourite

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALSKm0b42Mc

I love how a lot of these first wave artists jumped on the New Wave/Synthpop trend, it's some of my favourite music

Ventriloquist 09-28-2010 03:29 AM

Would you mind sending me that album, Haz?

Meatplow 10-03-2010 02:02 PM

http://foetus.org/content/
HIDE features ten new compositions by JG Thirlwell, who describes it as a “neo-symphonic avant-psychedelic concept album informed by the culture of fear”.
new samples and album art up, interesting. sort of hard to tell from 30 second samples, some parts i'm a little "uhh" about. reminds me of Love a lot, I initially wasn't keen on that album at all.
