Man we got the same tastes..those are my fav. hetfield guitars too...and i also love the "enter sandman" guitar that kirk uses..i don't know the model but it has a pic of the enter sandman guy! just beautiful guitars...

Kirk is not much of a singer.

I actually listened to Ride The Lightning the whole way through without skipping Trapped Under Ice and Escape like I normally do.

I have thus come to the conclusion: TUI Is the worst song on the album and that Escape is quite a good song trapped behind some cheesy riffs (and the solo's not bad either)

Also further thought in my mind's Metallica related ramblings; following the remixing/remastering of several Megadeth albums, wouldn't it be great if they redid AJFA. With improved production it would most certainly be their best album.

Imagine you're going to meet metallica....what would you say to them?? I have no idea what i would say...i'd just wait for them to start talking....i'd probably(sp?) ask about the new album! :D

i think he's talking about kirks black esp. i've never seen james playing a black ESP. my favourite guitar is james' red explorer :cool:

He uses it on the cunning stunts video when he plays Am I Evil

My fav Metallica guitar is James' ESP flying-V w/red hot rod flames or his ESP explorer w/black diamond plate. And to the guy who said he had never seen James playing with a black ESP: He used black ESP's during the black album tour and I think he still uses some these guitars at show.

Does anyone think Metallica will be able to make a comeback with their new album? Or will it be as bad as St Anger :upset: Personally i dont think they should make music anymore at all. They should have quit while they were ahead. I guess if they're not quitting i can only hope for the best with the new album.

Guys...I'm sorry to get a little off topic here but I can't get the part to Fade to Black fast enough where it starts on the 15th fret on the B string a little bit after the 2nd guitar comes in soloing or Kirk....I have been trying to build up the speed on that and Master Of Puppets for over a month and it seems I just can't....

Hardest solo: Fight fire with fire, no question. i know how to play one solo, master of puppets solo, sanitarium solo, all these other ones, but the one i havent got is the fight fire with fire solo. best solo ever period. St. anger plummeted. it could have been so much better, bob rock that dick head had to ruin it. it was going to have solos and everything to it , but no, says bob rock the cock. thats al i gotta say cause im tired of typing>

Yes, bob rock is what should be known as a "MEGA Dousche". lets also not forget that he helped produce the black album. so he has a little goin for himself.

I have the cheap crappy version of it that i got for $450. Compared to most other guitar for that much it is pretty good.

yeah, i saw them at the la coliseum, and they kicked a$s, even though we weren't that close, and i wanted to get pit tickets, but my friend was a fraid cuz hes a pu$$y, and they rocked, but limp bizkit, linkin park, mudvayne and deftones, but i didnt see mudvayne cuz i got there late. linkin park and deftones sucked, and limp bizkit was ok, but they got booed for covering some metallica songs. at metallica, it was dark and crap, and all 50,000 of the crowd members with lighters held them up and lit them. my friend saw them front row at the forum, though, and i wanted to go with him but couldn't get a ticket, dammit
