i want to hear them play light and the glass live. Not the acoustic version though.
That would be amazing.

Fish 08-16-2006 09:03 PM

Im amazing :)

DJ Ducksauce 08-16-2006 09:04 PM

Yes, but

:)

Fish 08-16-2006 09:24 PM

but my band played it live with an extended solo, and i sang it :)

AlkoholikMouse 08-24-2006 07:27 AM

I saw Coheed last night at Nottingham Rock City, and on a whole was largely dissapointed. Not entirely sure why, they just didn't do anything for me. Weird really, considering I like to listen to them on record. Sikth were pretty good though.

Fish 08-25-2006 10:47 PM

aw... a disapointment :(

They need mic and josh back

TheBigMachine 08-26-2006 02:48 AM

As soon as theres a Coheed dissapointment story, it gets blamed on the new guys. Which is fair enough. Just thought I'd make that observation.

Storm In A Teacup 08-26-2006 10:01 AM

I used to think Delerium Trigger was Coheed's third to worst* song, but now I may marry it.

*I orgasm the third least to it

DJ Ducksauce 08-26-2006 10:09 AM

DT is one of my favorites from SSTB.

I love it maybe even more than DIJC.

deathscreamingsheep 08-26-2006 04:26 PM

Lies.

The Crowing 08-26-2006 09:46 PM

Delirium Trigger is amazing. Nothing tops Neverender for me though.

It's odd, theyy werent bad by any means, they were just very average. I wouldn't call myself a huge fan to start with, but I do like them, and I watched their set from Leeds festy on TV yesterday and they were really good. Perhaps it was just an off day.

Dead Star 08-28-2006 03:53 PM

IKSOSE is immense live, I seen them last night.

chumpradio 08-28-2006 04:42 PM

I saw them last night.
They were amazing.
The bassist and drummer both seemed like cool guys, looked like they were having a fun time and they played perfectly as well. The 15 minute guitar solo at the end was immense.

Storm In A Teacup 08-28-2006 04:57 PM

I knew it! See? Mic Todd and Josh Eppard can go **** themselves for all I care leaving a band like Coheed and Cambria.

chumpradio 08-28-2006 05:23 PM

The bassist was rocking out, and the drummer had a smile on his face the whole time he was playing, and his playing was exquisite.
But to be honest, it was all about Claudio. I liked him even more because you could tell he's shy with talking to the crowd, and he had an awkward thing about him whenever he spoke between songs.

Storm In A Teacup 08-28-2006 06:53 PM

That's true. He certainly enjoyed the final song (Light & The Glass) of the DVD though laughing at the crowd and stuff.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 08-28-2006 09:54 PM

I can't stand the fill-in bassist and drummer. So when will we know if the departure is momentarily or definite?

chumpradio 08-29-2006 06:08 AM

No idea. I heard they are starting work on Volume 2 of Apollo in Autumn (the Fall for you Americans), so it should be before then. They still have some gigs left to play though.

I was at that show aswell, it was so much better than the performance i saw in February. The selection of songs was great; with the mini acoustic performance in the middle it made it feel like a full experience.
Also, the replacement Bassist and Drummer filled the gaps just fine, which was impressive. Claudio and Travis also seemed to be enjoying themselves, which, given the circumstances is great.

Volume 2 is going to be a classic album. I'm telling you all right now, but it needs not be said. It's already fact.

Eliminator 08-30-2006 08:04 PM

Coheed & Cambria are the great musical masters of the 21st century. Fact.

Storm In A Teacup 08-30-2006 08:13 PM

No. The Beatles are overall. Album wise Coheed still isn't the best. Pet Sounds, Abbey Road, and The Misery Index: Notes from the plague years are better albums than any of the Coheed albums.

Eliminator 08-30-2006 08:14 PM

I said 21st century.

DOOFUS

Storm In A Teacup 08-30-2006 08:16 PM

Oh, then you're right. They are overall the best band of the 21st century.

Eliminator 08-30-2006 08:24 PM

Oh wait I was joking.

:)

Storm In A Teacup 08-30-2006 08:34 PM

Your whole account is a joke from all the posts I've seen. :-\

cobert 08-30-2006 08:35 PM

I am a joke account.

deathscreamingsheep 08-31-2006 03:04 PM

Your mum's a joke account.

Lolaccount?

Storm In A Teacup 09-05-2006 08:04 PM

My God is Coheed & Cambria amazing! I realize this time and time again.

I think I should base every tatoo I ever get on Coheed & Cambria.

Yes.

I will.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 09-05-2006 08:47 PM

/post

Just for Ian.

I don't like Coheed that much. My friend tried to get me into them, but they're just mehh.

Storm In A Teacup 09-05-2006 08:50 PM

I was going to rep Chels for posting on my behalf, but then she had to insult the greatest band ever. :(

Rep for IH8JESS (and you chels ;)).

Anyway, I was listening to Coheed and I had a horrible thought. Someday I'm going to die and then there's a chance I won't be able to listen to Coheed when I'm dead. I've found a really good reason to believe in Heaven. So even when I'm dead I'll still be listening to Coheed & Cambria.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 09-05-2006 08:52 PM

Thanks, mahn.

I couldn't rep you for your FA so it'll have to be later.

I didn't insult them anyways, wtf.

Storm In A Teacup 09-05-2006 08:58 PM

It's an insult to them if you say anything other than that they're the greatest band ever.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 09-05-2006 09:03 PM

It was not an insult, k.

Storm In A Teacup 09-05-2006 09:07 PM

Coheed and Cambria is greater than God.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 09-05-2006 09:08 PM

Um, no not really.

I'll leave before I start spamming in here. lolz.
