me likes punk 07-18-2007 09:01 PM
That could be interpreted many ways but I choose to believe you meant that your Hot Topic features a live band at all hours which is totally awesome.
I've talked to the people that work at the Hot Topic in my town. It would NOT be very aweome to watch them play music.

Anarcho Poser 07-18-2007 10:23 PM

I think he meant music of their choosing. like, their own CDs.

He knows what I meant. He's just pretending that he doesn't have the same reasoning ability as us.

Liebensaft 07-19-2007 01:38 PM

Kevin, I'll be sure to give the people in Hot Topic a collection of modern pop-hip-hop cd's as well as a Latterman mix. That way I can ensure you will never enjoy music ever again.

SkaRobotArmy 07-19-2007 02:17 PM

You are missing the part where I like Hot Topic.

wtf is this a band or something

Angry Balled Fists! 07-22-2007 02:53 PM

srsly hate this album.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-22-2007 02:56 PM

and tbh its hard not too compare it to their older stuff because it actually is a differnet band and sooooo much worse. even sfafc is like 10 times better than this.

AndreTheHyena 07-22-2007 03:20 PM

From what I've heard so far, I like the new one better than Searching....

Liebensaft 07-22-2007 07:16 PM

Yeah, this beats the hell out of SFAFC. And thankfully I haven't seen it for sale in Wal-Mart.

why are you in wal-mart in the first place.

this album is pretty good. it took me a few times to get in to it and theres a few songs i dont like (the ocean). overall its really cool. thrash and fm waves are the best songs imo. (on the album, not overall)

Liebensaft 07-22-2007 09:26 PM

I'm employed by Wal-Mart. I don't like saying I "work" there because I really don't. They also pay really well. For me they do, at least. The pay is the same when you're 35 and need to buy food to live.

Anarcho Poser 07-23-2007 02:08 AM

This new album is almost good.

I'm trying so hard to like it, and I almost do, there's just something missing, and I can't put my finger on it.

Maybe it's passion. I just don't feel it in this album. Thrash Unreal with a little more intensity and emotion would be an excellent song, I think.

arrell 07-23-2007 03:37 AM

Och, never heard of this band before.

Song recommendations, please?

Anarcho Poser 07-23-2007 05:15 AM

Those Anarcho Punx are Mysterious
Reinventing Axl Rose
Sink, Florida, Sink
Walking is Still Honest
Cavalier Eternal

But that's old stuff. Decent newer songs include:

Miami
Unprotected Sex with Multiple Partners
How Low
Joy
Searching for a Former Clarity
Borne on the FM Waves

I'd say that's a pretty good summary.

Cool, thanks a lot for that. I'll look into them.

Brewing Up With 07-23-2007 10:22 AM

If you want older stuff go for:

We Did It All For Don
Impact
Burn
Untitled

Or, just buy or download the two EP's, Reinventing Axl Rose, and ATEC

Angry Balled Fists! 07-23-2007 11:21 AM

why doesnt this album have like the only decent new song theyve done "exhaustion" or whatever from the dvd.

Their site has it listed as Armageddon.

Twin Human Highway Flares 07-23-2007 02:00 PM

I always called it Untitled. I always thought of Armageddon as a name fans came up with cos they didn't want to call it Untitled, like how some people call the Acoustic EP Jordan's First Choice

I always liked Ya'll Don't Wanna Step To Dis, and What We Worked For.
But Impact is by far my favorite song by them.

I think the new album is different, but only in sound.
They sound like they have their heart in this album, just like they did in SFAFC, ATEC, RAR, and Crime.
There sound has never been the exact same on every album, if you look closely the difference between each album isn't large, but when you compare SFAC to Crime, you can see the difference easily, they've progressed their sound each album.

As an actual anarchist, I haven't seen them "sell out".
Signing to a major label has nothing to do with selling out, it's when you start placing ads for all sorts of companies on their web page, or on their tours, that is selling out.
And until I see them start endorsing products, they haven't sold out.
Maybe they're singing about different problems now, but it's still Against Me!.

You think so? I feel like that's all this album is missing.

hey at lest .25 cents of every ticket goes to charity.

Anarcho Poser 07-23-2007 05:30 PM

Hey, I'm not complaining. If the fat cats are gunna sponsor something, it may as well be music. 'cause let's be honest, who doesn't love music?

Other than metalheads.

Flagjacket 07-23-2007 07:18 PM

Actually I'd rate the metalheads at the very top for dedication to music. You don't see punx burning down banks and slicing up cops.

Anarcho Poser 07-23-2007 07:19 PM

it was a metal =/= music joke :upset:
