Someone's been listening to Million Dead.

OrbDragon 11-30-2004 10:24 AM

I just got "Romances" by Kaada and Mike Patton today...what an amazing record...I can't stop listening to it...it's like 9 Violenza Domestica's on one disc.

BeautifulButterfly453 11-30-2004 10:25 AM

Who is Kaada?

OrbDragon 11-30-2004 10:34 AM

Kaada is a Norwegian artist that writes really artsy, experimental retro-pop...his cd "Thank You For Giving Me Your Valuable Time" is pretty **** good as well. "Romances" is hella different though...it's more like cinematic music.
I'm doing some coursework at college at the moment. I have to sequence the Muppets theme in SONAR.
Why do I not get decent things like that? Instead, I have to do an entire investigation into the resistance of wires in an electrical circuit and discuss the prejudice and hatred in To Kill A Mockingbird.

Iai 11-30-2004 02:13 PM

My current pieces of coursework -

- Sequencing the Muppets theme.
- A string quartet arrangement of a folk song called Shule Agra.
- A composition for some Van Morrisson lyrics.
- A discussion on how both 1984 and The Crucible deal with the theme of the perversion of truth.

I'm also studying Richard Wagner (my favourite composer) in Music history, and studying the blues and rock'n'roll in Music Technology history.

Iai 11-30-2004 02:57 PM

I have to get for work at 5.30 tomorrow morning. Fun fun.

sweboy 11-30-2004 02:58 PM

Solid, I start school tomorrow at about 10.00. And then it ends at about 12.30.

Iai 11-30-2004 03:01 PM

/kills Sweboy out of blind jealousy

I'm in college for 12 hours tomorrow.

The Ashtray Girl 11-30-2004 03:08 PM

Eek... harsh. I'm out of the house 12 hours straight tomorrow, but that's not quite so bad.

Iai 11-30-2004 03:11 PM

Yeah. Work from 6.30-8.30, Music Tech lesson from 10.30-12.00, Advanced English from 12.00-1.00, guitar lesson from 1.30-2.00, more music tech from 2.30-3.30, then work from 4.10-6.10.

Lots of gaps, mind.

RIPJoeStrummer 11-30-2004 07:16 PM

George Bush is coming to my crappy little city tomorrow. I'm going to protest. :)

Bartender 11-30-2004 08:32 PM

Peaceful, Gandhi-style protesting, or the good kind?

As for the beer bottle, I'm one step ahead of you...

Little Man being Erased 12-01-2004 07:17 AM
