They played the Super Sabado Gigante Fest 2 at the Gilman a few months back with Cap Caz, Municipal Waste, Insect Warfare, and a bunch of others. Great show. They didn't use the stage; they played right on the floor.
I wish I could have made it for that.

The show last night was awesome. All of the bands were good, and Resistant Culture stole the show. They were so good.

AIRIC 03-04-2006 12:30 PM

I'm getting the Green Beret/Godstomper split 7" now. Anyone know if it's good?

That is hilarious.

RetiredAt21 03-04-2006 04:45 PM

I'm sure the Godstomper half is good, I've never heard of Green Beret though...

RetiredAt21 03-04-2006 04:47 PM

I wonder if it's true.

AIRIC 03-04-2006 06:12 PM

Both were kind of weird.

clustifux 03-05-2006 01:43 AM

Oh...Godstomper are good....oh yes...they are indeed.

clustifux 03-05-2006 01:48 AM

It was one of the emo bands i saw in a music video that the drummer had a FILTH t-shirt on so it is a possibiltity.

That's the drummer from All-American Rejects. I saw the video too and started laughing. The dude they're talking about is the dude from Fall Out Boy, though. I remember hearing that he played in Earth Crisis, too, but I dunno.

Scabies 03-05-2006 07:28 AM

i wouldnt be surprised if he played in spazz tbh

Scabies 03-05-2006 07:35 AM

and sorry, but that all american rejects song is awesome. sorry.

Gnarmageddon 03-05-2006 07:42 AM

Wow. Aborted rules.
i wouldnt be surprised if he played in spazz tbh
Yeah, same here. Since Pete Wentz played in that straight edge vegan hardcore band.

Edit: Justin, we should compile a list of good grind bands in the first post of this thread. And we could include metal stuff too, just for the hell of it.

Scholastic Deth
What Happens Next?
Bombs Of Death

Gnarmageddon 03-07-2006 06:36 PM

Alright, I've composed a list of all the grind and tech/death metal I can think of. Justin, feel free to add/change anything, and do the black metal section.

Also, if someone knows a band that should be added, feel free to mention them and Justin or I will get them up there.

Should we include a powerviolence section, too?

DaveToopes 03-07-2006 06:38 PM

A PV section would be cool. I need to find some more PV.

Gnarmageddon 03-07-2006 06:48 PM

Yeah, same. I don't know of much.

Liebensaft 03-07-2006 07:20 PM

So uhhhh R.A.M.B.O. are awesome.

DaveToopes 03-07-2006 07:21 PM
