ya, I practiced rudiments last night for about two hours straight lol, I got the Triple Stroke, Four Stroke, And Double Stroke down pretty well.

so my friends came over the other day to jam. the only problem is, one of my friends who i didn't want to come over, came over. he hadn't touched his guitar in the 4 or 5 months that he stopped coming over, which leaves him at a total of no more than 2 hours of home practice in almost 3 years. all he can play is straight 8th note powerchords.

and he's one of those kids that just assumes screaming is natural and doesn't need any vocal training. he tried yesterday for a few songs, and after 2 songs, he stops and goes "man, i need to get my throat up to par again." :lol:

i told him to atleast read up on proper techniques if he doesn't want to spend money on an actual teacher, and he just ignored me.

i guess i'll give him a while to see if he improves at all, and if not, i'll just tell him i'm going to go join a band with another group of kids that asked me to.

I finally managed to unhook the dreamcast from the tangle of wires and cords behind our entertainment center. Now to find the energy to hook it back up in my room.
