i don't see how they're bad thrash? i used to be obsessed with thrash metal but can't really listen to the majority of it. slayer is the one band that i can still jam and not be bored by.

i like the bands he listed too but he's a pompous prick. i don't think it's a terrible place to start but i think it's real dumb to always just say the first bands of a genre instead of more standout ones, which there are (objectively and subjectively.) while i'm not discounting the importance of knowing the roots of a genre i realize that they're not always the best bands.

not gonna lie, i like some of the guitarwork, but kids look like total froots

inauguration was wild, i drank a bunch of vodka at 6 in the morning, found a spot a little bit past the washington monument and for the rest of the time basically pissed off people around us by smoking cigs. it was pretty ironic that everyone there was like all in the spirit of hope and change yet literally everyone with 20 feet of me and my friend harassed us for smoking cigs. good time though
