they are a dying thing. some have been revived. bit of a trend in some places. but for the most part they are gone. but a few remain in the entire Los Angeles area. maybe several. and that's not saying much in a city of millions. I live nearby one. several miles. so i'm lucky that way. great way to see a movie. especially an a nice night with the moonroof of my car open. it's just fun. i like it a lot. and yeah, opposite sex company required. or same sex. however you swing...

The last time I went to see a movie, it was at a drive-in.

So anyone else going to watch the Basketball World Champs. New Zealand came 4th last year (The US came like 8th) so i'm interested to see if we can reach that level again this time.
