Yeah, the Naruto fans in here went over all that last night.
Ah, they did?

Hmmmmm

I went to bed at 9 pm last night, since my lack of sleep + physical work = dead tired. I slept for a good 13 hours straight though and feel much better. So ya, I missed every thing last night heh.

Bartender 02-18-2005 03:06 PM
I really like this Lykathea Aflame. It's like happy death metal, well certain parts of it anyway.
Cool :)

Well, Joe and Otherside did. Other than them, the only Naruto fan that springs to mind is you :) It's all over all the sites, anyway.

superpeer 02-18-2005 03:07 PM

The Pokémon game boy games were actually good though. Very fun.

NP : The Cure - The End of the World

I never got into those, not surprisingly.

NP: Jimi Hendrix - Bold as Love

magicbus 02-18-2005 03:13 PM

I really liked Red Verision. Nothing else though. Be back in a while!

Ya, I was the one that told Joe about it over msn...

I saw it about the day after they posted it on the sites.

Bartender 02-18-2005 03:15 PM

Well I hope they're left up long enough for me to get a decent number of the episodes, anyway.

Illmatic 02-18-2005 03:15 PM

Pa'ce, magicbus.
I really liked Red Verision. Nothing else though. Be back in a while!
Wasn't the red version the same as the blue version?

Bartender 02-18-2005 03:17 PM

I don't think they were, though I forget how they differed.

I was red, anyway. When it got into gold, silver, yellow, etc..then it got somewhat stupid.

There will be a few places still to get it, but most of them are taking it down.

NP - The Black Mages - The Man with the Machine Gun

jpj 02-18-2005 03:18 PM

I remember Pokemon....

/nostalgia :)

Any recommendations for places to get it (that likely won't be taking them down)?

Ugh. And the site I use to get the Naruto seasons is down, so I can't start the rest of the episodes... season 3 is 50% done though.

Otherside 02-18-2005 03:19 PM

I use http://www.boxtorrents.com for almost everything.

I'll see what ones are taking them down and what ones aren't.

There is a large amount of anime torrent sites around here on the net heh.

Yeah. I can never seem to find them though, when I look for stuff like;

Bobobo (sometimes called Bo-bobo, apparently)
I My Me Strawberry Eggs
Full Metal Alchemist
3 by Three Eyes
Full Metal Panic!

I think I'm just bad at searching though.

EDIT: Hurrah. I own page 1337.

In response to the thread title, Douglas Adams rules.

BoboTheRagingHobo3 02-18-2005 03:29 PM

I have about 5000-6000 Pokemon cards still, and actually started playing at my local card shop again few months ago out of shear memories heh.

The new cards suck now, due to it being sold to Nintendo now...so many broken combos that they obviously don't see.

My friend, whom like lives at the cardshop when ever he has time off, is like ranked in the top 100 of worlds and brags every day about it .

Also William Hyung is ranked in the top 50 of worlds.

Iron Man 02-18-2005 03:31 PM

I just picked up Dark Tranquility - Character, giving it a listen now

/me also has all my old pokemon cards

Welcome.

I always disliked the Pokemon card games.

MTG > Pokemon, by quite a way.

Or used to, anyway :(

SWCCG>all other CCGs.

Unfortunately the #1 player in the world lived in the same general vicinity as I...so he slaughtered every tourney I played. Worse, in his prizes, he would pull super rare stuff, and just...give it away to people in exchange for cards worth a lot less :(

Bartender 02-18-2005 03:37 PM

:glare:

Jon Finkel > whoever that guy was

*hopes there are no closet MTG fans about*

RiceMonster 02-18-2005 03:38 PM

/me sold all his Pokemon cards for 50 bucks (Canadian) three years ago.
/me sold all his Pokemon cards for 50 bucks (Canadian) three years ago.
The way to be :thumb:. Spend a ton of money on a fad and then sell them for less than you paid ;)

BoboTheRagingHobo3 02-18-2005 03:41 PM
The She Bangs American Idol Guy? :amaze:
Yes, that guy.

I know 2 guys here locally that are in the top 5 worlds in Pokemon. /is lame

But they are both adults with kids, and playing Pokemon with the kids is something to do with the kids, and they kinda picked up on being good at it heh.

I also know a guy that is the state champion of Oregon for MTG, and he has been invited to quite a few Magic Grand Prix's as well.

But now, Magic sucks big time because they are running out of ideas and are making so many lame straight forward powerful cards with simple combos that every one runs. But they released the sequel to the Unglued set, it is called Unhinged. Pretty funny set as well.

BludgeonySteve 02-18-2005 03:43 PM

I remember I wasted a good deal of money on magic as well as pokemon :(
