is this healthy?  |
I was also wondering about that.
Toast is great though, a simple version with ham and cheese is my favorite. I'm not hungry anymore, I had some more food and in about an hour or so, I will have dinner. :) np:Nadja - Slow Loss |

Yeah, in the Netherlands we call this: http://blogs.venturacountystar.com/vcs/dennert/archives/toast.jpg
Toast and the think Kacper was talking about a Toasty. Toasty > Toast |
is this healthy?
Yes. Apart from the salami its very healthy. All low GI and all fresh, apart from the cheese |
wtf is rocket?
|
We call it 'ruccola', if that helps.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eruca_sativa |
rocket?
Its like lettuce but fancier and tastes a bit spicier. it might be spelt roquette :/ its nice but |
LOL@the netherland toast :p

That sounds good.
I've never seen it here though. |
We call it 'ruccola', if that helps.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eruca_sativa
Yeah, I know Rucola, that's good stuff. I was like wtf  with the rocket. What do I need? More Nadja np: Nadja - Base Fluid |
That sounds good.
I've never seen it here though.
yeah its well nice. its really god when its made into pesto. The only good thing about where i live is theres a massive italian food market just down the road and they get the proper european meats and cheeses and fresh vegetables. Im always down there gettin nice stuff to try. |
 damn you.
|
European food is nice.
Or well, I love the diversity of the food in Europe. Dutch cuisine actually sucks. Greek food is my favorite within Europe. Outside Europe: Mexican. |
Have you ever tried Swedish food? Don't.
|
But Swedish meatballs are good.
Or are they not real Swedish food? |
They are real, but I never liked those, even when I ate meat.
|
hehe.
I've tried Norwegian food which was pretty good. And well, as far as Swedish goes, I've tried Kjötteboller. Nice. Norwegian food was nice: Fiskeboller, Pölser i lömpe, Rokfisk. |
Poland has some good food too;
Greece is great indeed! Italian bores me meanwhile... pasta, pasta, pizza, pasta, pasta, pizza, .... Austria has some specials too... but most of it is just "heavy" - you have to search for the good food. Russian food is good too, but in restaurants too expensive ^^ i'm going to make my toast :D |
Well, we have lutfisk and surströmming. And grisfötter (trotters from a pig). All those are disgusting.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lutefisk http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surströmming |
And uh, how's it called:
Sörsild? Haring in sugar water? |
We call it inlagd sill (pickled herring).
|
But really, nothing beats a steak.
I really love that. np: Nadja - You Are As Dust |
The markets is mainly for immigrants or ethnic families here. theres an asian one somewhere as well, but its mainly greek, italian, portugese, and eastern european cause thats the type of people that live here. there are great selection of sausages and kielbasas and whatnot and so many cheeses. Proper real cheeses that arent plastic. They have the best fresh vegies in town as well. Best fruit as well tbh
|
Fresh markets > super markets.
|
Have you ever tried Swedish food? Don't.
Inlagd sill == win OK, I don't know how that is, but I have eaten a Polish food very similar to it. |
