Thanks for the prom/formal advice dudes.
Has anybody seen The Proposition? Nick Cave wrote the screenplay and did the music. I'm about to go see it.
My uncle worked on it. He was an assistant director I believe. Bloody awesome movie.

Saw X-Men 3 last night, I thought it was kinda lame. I enjoyed 2 quite a bit, but this was disapointing.

There are at least three Tower Records within a 20 minute driving distance of where I live.

I want to see the Proposition but I have no idea if it's going to play here. I'll probably have to wait for it to come out on plastic. Anyone know what the soundtrack is like?

Kurtz 05-29-2006 12:03 PM

There a Tower Records in Long Beach and a great used CD store in Long Beach on Belmont Shore, so I just go there to get all my crap.

In Southern California there's no such thing as a 20 minute driving distance.

JonM 05-29-2006 12:18 PM

I think most of the hysterics about the mp3 destroying music are totally unjustified, but I do think that music is going to suffer from the loss of the tangible record.

You're closer to Long Beach than Anaheim or Brea?

Kurtz 05-29-2006 12:48 PM

I'm about the same distance from Long Beach and Anaheim, but I identify much closer to Long Beach

So I do everything there

BillCosby 05-29-2006 12:51 PM
long beach is pretty tight
True.

But I don't mind it here at all. Some of the white people complain about the Mexicans, but I've never had any real problems. I infinitely prefer it over south county where all the houses, cars, and women look the same.

The only people I can't stand are the bros.

The fuckin' bros.

Zmev 05-29-2006 04:42 PM

I move that BC changes his location to "Thizzneyland"

BillCosby 05-29-2006 04:51 PM

Zmev 05-29-2006 04:52 PM

Same, I don't mind Cypress too much.

I hate bros. Oh my god.

YDload 05-29-2006 06:25 PM
