Mexican Bandito 05-12-2006 04:04 PM

Jev 05-12-2006 04:08 PM

A bit of this, a bit of that...mainly seeing the girlfriend, preparing for exams and trying to score gigs with my band (myspace.com/nebularfrostmetal)

Fun stuff really, hows life in your world? How is Brian?

Patrick O))) 05-12-2006 04:39 PM

Hah, Brian's good. I've found a way of making him dribble when he wants food. And when we dug up the garden a bit ago, we got rid of his catnip bush. On the way home one day I saw what I think is the same plant in someone's garden, so I snuck in and took a cutting <.<

Other than that, just working and trying to get a band going. Had a bit of a false start with the bassist this time. His other band (my sisters ffs) is hogging all his rehersal time, so he might have to quit. Which'd blow.

Going to Download this year?

Lord Abortion 05-12-2006 05:03 PM

Ahh, damn bassists.

When my parents moved to France my cats had to move house too so I've got no idea what my Brian is upto these days, I'm sure he's ok though in his new home.

Download looks a bit crap to be honest this year, I'm going to Monsters of Rock instead and I might be going to Bloodstock Open Air though if I can afford it.

tumples 05-12-2006 05:40 PM

man today has been so crap, i got my history and dt coursework marks back and they both suck, i got second from last in both, 42/60 in history and 47/80 in my dt

the history mark isnt bad i guess, but the dt one sucks, and its made me mad because ive put so much effort into it and though it was on a par with all my friends, who got 60/70 ish

and also my isp is having a fit due to the amount of internet my parents are using, so im having to wait until midnight to come on

PAJJ 05-12-2006 06:16 PM

Are that sucks :(, but coursework doesn't count for everything you can still make it up in the exam, but hey it's not the end of the world, as long as you get the grades to do what you want to do next year you'll be fine, unless you want to go to oxford or somewhere like that, the unis won't care about your gcses.

tumples 05-12-2006 06:34 PM

nah its as levels, so im more bothered because if i suck this year, my application wont be as good
its more annoying because i know i should be doing much better much anyway, moaning wont solve anything at all
hows your day been

Bassists and drummers are few and far between around my area. The bassist was good enough and had facilities, but can hardly if ever practice, and our drummer is ace, just so long as he's not high or on a comedown

There's only a few bands that I want to see, but luckily most of 'em fall on the same day.

Poor Brian :( He should be busy owning all the french cats

Mexican Bandito 05-13-2006 02:28 AM

FOAD
yay

Morning all :)
Right I'm off to work, hope ya'll have fun whatever you're up to.

bye

Jev 05-13-2006 04:50 AM

I think I'm getting an ear infection :(

tumples 05-13-2006 06:25 AM

bummer, why do you think that

Jev 05-13-2006 06:28 AM

My ear's starting to ache a bit. When I woke up this morning it was pretty painful.
It might be due to using ear plugs in band practice.
I hope it goes away because my GCSEs start this Friday.

Long Story Short, I was lying on the floor, it came up and stood on my chest, then I stroked his chin, and a glob landed straight in my Eye.

Jev 05-13-2006 09:08 AM

Mexican Bandito 05-13-2006 09:56 AM

Hello people, that's me just in from work :)
There was a big march on in town today so it was pretty quiet for most of the day.
I got a nice bottle of wine from work for my birthday! :)
I spoke to the pharmasist about my sore throat and she said I might have glandular fever :( which sucks baws. I don't want to give anyone my disease...

Jev 05-13-2006 10:01 AM

Damn, Glandular fever. My friend has had that for 10 years. It gets him at least once a year.

Mexican Bandito 05-13-2006 10:07 AM

:(
I was told that once you catch it, it's in your system for 14 years and it can come back at any time.
I really hope I've not got it....

Jev 05-13-2006 10:08 AM

It sucks majorly, he's missed an entire term because of it once (6 whole weeks).
Try to think back who you've kissed about 6 weeks ago. I think that's how long it takes to develop.

PAJJ 05-13-2006 10:09 AM

Ewww Zowe has couties :p

In all seriousness wouldn't you feel alot worse if it was glandular fever?
I have a strange feeling i'm getting it confused with another disease which makes you more sick :-\

Mexican Bandito 05-13-2006 10:12 AM
Try to think back who you've kissed about 6 weeks ago. I think that's how long it takes to develop.
hehhehe
>_>
<_<

I guess it could just be a bad throat infection, but I've been feeling constantly tired and I'm having really bad tension head aches - that's why I'm thinking it's something more...
