I wish they would interview Chuck Klosterman more, but besides that, Heavy is alright.

Today I turn the big (little) 1-7.

Tomorrow I am going on a 17-hr birthday binge with some Chardonnay box wine. It should be an interesting time.

pikester 05-26-2006 02:17 PM

Architecture in Helsinki is playing in Vancouver tonight, and I can't go because I'm not 19. Bah.

I'm seeing a bunch of pretty decent local bands instead. It should be a good time but not quite AiH good.

pixiesfanyo 05-26-2006 02:26 PM

Hey. I think Last.fm got all their mems wiped.

Cool

The Great Decay 05-26-2006 02:30 PM

I just checked my profile and everything was there.

FA 05-26-2006 02:38 PM

Mine wasn't, so I made a new one. It's now my mx username...FalseAdvertisin....without the g, stupid character limit.

Anxious 05-26-2006 03:55 PM

I don't like the numbers "2" "0" "0" "6" placed sequentially.

pikester 05-26-2006 03:59 PM

Final Fantasy also has to be up there for worst band names, entirely because of how unoriginal it is.

FA 05-26-2006 05:16 PM

Jeff Buckley's Live at Olympia is pretty fantastic...I'd throw that high up on my top albums/live albums..whatever.

Zmev 05-26-2006 05:20 PM

Story of the Year arent that bad it turns out.

There's a band called Final Fantasy? Lame.

I saw my shrink today. He said I should do an excercise (i cant spell) where I study people's face as they're talking. He said to do this, I should take a movie I've seen a few times before, and watch it with the sound off. So sometime this weekend I'm gonna watch Pulp Fiction with the sound off and take notes.

FA 05-26-2006 05:22 PM

And what exactly is this going to do?

You know, I was supposed to go to therapy because I have bad times sleeping...long story. I decided I didn't want to go, for personal reasons I guess. I went to therapy in 1st grade....lol.

Glitterati 05-26-2006 05:37 PM

It's gonna help me study people's faces as they talk, so I understand their emotions better.

You better ditch your grade 10 girl friends right now

Yes.

Okay but that only works where the movies have good actors. I guess Pulp Fiction is a good choice, but if you've ever seen a play then you'll know that those guys are REALLy expressive. You know, so people in the back rows can understand their body language.
Story of the Year arent that bad it turns out.
Apparently they don't write their own songs.
All the emo kids like them but I haven't even heard them

biografiend 05-26-2006 09:44 PM

I saw a shrink when I was in third grade. I had horrible anxiety, and used to have panic attacks during bad weather. I lied to him though and told him what he wanted to hear, so he told my mom I was fine or something. I've thought about going back, though, because I still have anxiety and alot of times my emotions are out of control.

el doctor 05-26-2006 10:53 PM

Peeping Tom on Conan tonight. Cool.

BillCosby 05-26-2006 10:54 PM

Nice. Hopefully it will make up for the rest of this night sucking.

Luxor 05-26-2006 11:35 PM

So my girlfriend and I of two years broke up.... but thankfully theres a liittle thing called alcohol to solve that problem!!!

Glitterati 05-26-2006 11:43 PM

Woowoo drinking buddy.

Me and my friend went to this little fair tonight by our school. These girls two or three years younger than us were following us, and my friend's older brother bought us Smirnoff. All the girls and my friend drank, because I don't drink. It was funny watching these idiotic girls making drunken idiots of themselves; I guess fourteen year olds can't hold their liquor!

Luxor 05-26-2006 11:45 PM

14 year old girls an smirfnoff, man.. bad mix

FA 05-27-2006 12:01 AM

pixie, did you get it?

Kyle 05-27-2006 03:33 PM

I can't resist the temptation to plug my review, it's pretty rare for me to write them.
