It is. People made fun of me when I set it as my Myspace user name. :(

Now it's "Jake says: Half Vampire, Half warrior."

:-D
Is that a reference to Alucard, son of Count Dracula? :D

That's a great name, I don't know why people would make fun of it.

As is Myspace. Gargh, I hate that.

Kage - Most people don't get Tool, and I'm just wierd to begin with, so yeah.

I thrive off making myself into a whipping post for others!

Txus 04-19-2006 09:55 PM

I just heard the album for the second time and I'm loving almost every single part of it. I don't like Wings For Marie that much I think it's the low part of the album. The pot is an incredible song maybe my favorite followed closely by Vicarious and Rosetta Stoned also the song Jambi isn't a tipical Tool song IMO but it has a really nice flow.

deadohiosky9 04-19-2006 09:58 PM

Wings for Marie/10,000 Days is the strongest part of the album, IMO. They should grow on you.

Daven 04-19-2006 09:59 PM

I listened Reflection again after not hearing it for like two months. It was after listening to 10,000 days, and I must say its f'ing great.

deadohiosky9 04-19-2006 10:02 PM

Reflection is such a great song. Now that I think about it, its so different from a 10,000 Days song. This album is so different.

Daven 04-19-2006 10:05 PM

Now i remember why Reflection is my fav by Tool. We'll have to see if it remains that way, with the new album.

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-19-2006 10:06 PM

I cried during Wings for Marie Pt. II guys.

deadohiosky9 04-19-2006 10:07 PM

Everyone is talking about how they cried during Part II. I can see why, its such a powerful emotional and intense song. It hits hard.

deadohiosky9 04-19-2006 10:11 PM

And I'm out for the night. Later dudes.

PIGS(1 different one) 04-19-2006 10:48 PM

Well, I'm on my 5th listen and I do have to say this album is growing a lot on me.

The overall flow of this album is amazing except for the first two tracks, I'm not sure if Jambi fits right after Viscarious.

I'm tired right now, and Im gonn go listen again fully while I try to go sleep. I'll post what I think about it again tomorrow.

But overall this is growing on me BIG TIME.

Spiritofmosa 04-19-2006 10:58 PM

umm ok.. so i decided to download songs off the album instead of ripping the whole album. So what songs do you guys recommend

Mr.Poupon 04-19-2006 11:42 PM

I'd recommend Jambi, The Pot, Rosetta Stoned, and Right In Two. To me Tool's albums rank like this: Lateralus, 10,000 Days, Aenima, Opiate and Undertow. It's a great disc guys. Like most people are saying, I'm sure it'll grow on me more.

toocool4tool 04-19-2006 11:56 PM

Elfen Lied 04-20-2006 12:00 AM

Elfen Lied 04-20-2006 12:06 AM

try opening it in a different browser or window it worked for me after 3 tries or so

toocool4tool 04-20-2006 12:08 AM

I appreciate it but do you know where I can find the individual mp3's? Limewire or none of that has it.

joas 04-20-2006 12:08 AM

im enjoying the album from the amount of time ive spent listening, but whats really frustrating is how ticketmaster has all the concert date tickets on sale except for the AZ date, ugh

The Persian 04-20-2006 12:09 AM

I don't like the little segues, like Lost keys, Viginti Tres, and Lipan Conjuring... its like wasting time that couldve been awesome songs... but the rest of the songs are great. They are getting very experimental on this album, really differen than the rest of the albums

Elfen Lied 04-20-2006 12:10 AM

any set dates on new jersey>?

I know lots of people are saying its not real, or that its b-sides and I didn't believe that. However, today someone brought up some good points. One that stuck out was that on amazon, people can purchase "10,000 years" along with "10,000 days" and "10,000 years" happens to come out at a later date. My next thought "10,000 days" relating to his paralyzed mother waiting to be freed in death. "10,000 years" possibly a paralyzed humanity waiting to be freed in death?

toocool4tool 04-20-2006 12:44 AM

maynard is using his mother living in paralysis, dead to life, but yet beleiving in a God and finally dying, as a way to explain on a larger scale how all of humanity is doing the same as she.

PepsiMetal 04-20-2006 01:39 AM

Sweet, I'll download the new album. Please be like aenima. :)

Riva 04-20-2006 01:45 AM

So, is the new album out for sale, or is this a leak?

PepsiMetal 04-20-2006 01:47 AM

Well torrents have it. I'm getting 280 KB/s. Lotsa tool seeders.

It'll be released on may 2 according to amazon.

Riva 04-20-2006 01:52 AM

Oh. I despise leaks. I'll put my order in at HMV.
