listen to Rosesdead
not just because of this, but also because theyre the best metalcore band ever also, It Prevails plays in major a lot too. and fordirelifesake and also, i think, Life In Your Way
Rosesdead is a an inferior Misery Signals clone. They're album isn't bad, but I've been listening to Of Malice... for years and it still gives me goosebumps. |
Rosesdead came out around the same time as Misery Signals so I'm not sure how you could say they're clones, especially when Rosesdead was already really well known in Ontario and Misery Signals had yet to put out an album.
|
gonna give them a listen either way
|
they're decent, one of my "guilty pleasures" in that they're pretty standard but they do it well. they used to be terrible though, it was only after they pilfered fordirelifesake's vocalist that they got decent
|
okay
so Stages is the album to get? |
yea
|

And then you take into account that Misery Signals and Rosesdead don't even sound alike... Also, I don't care what anyone says, Stages is ****ing awesome. |
but then you're just pulling at straws man
|
I'm only familiar with Stages, is their older stuff more MS/7A7P style than that album, or are you just ****ing around?
Also, downloading an album by Sullivan (ex-This Runs Through, after Spencer joined Underoath). I'm hoping this'll be good. |
Am I the only one who enjoys Bleeding Through? They're not groundbreaking, but they tick the right boxes for me as a live metalcore act.
|
nah their older stuff was a lot more scene-ier from what i remember, there wasn't much metal at all. it was more like the rest of the trendy post-hardcore garbage that comes out of ontario than anything
|

I honestly think that band just flat out sucks, no offense. |

None taken broseph; you're welcome to have and state any opinion. Have you had a chance to see them live? Live they're pretty tight as a unit. |
that's what she said
about balls |
Tight-balls? lol wut.
|
Everyone says they're really good live, but idk if I'd care enough to want to see them live.
Evergreen Terrace puts on a good show, but I still got so bored I walked out all three times I saw them. Cocaine's been on a roll today w/ the double entendres
|
I've not understood the appeal of Misery Signals? I've heard people rave but they don't grab my attention. Any tracks in particular I've missed and need to check out?
