how do you fail math

are you retarded
slightly

Panopticon 02-04-2008 03:31 PM
y lol
i graduated, then went back to take grade 12 music (which i took last year)

basically the story is, my mom didn't want me to take a full year off because she didnt want me to get out of the swing of things, so i took the bare minimum...i now realize how much of a waste of time it is.

Panopticon 02-04-2008 03:32 PM
lol hes finished high school i think.

So i failed math class. As usual, my dad starts going all nuts and stuff without thinking about what hes saying. he was like "you need to concentrate on school more and not on drums or your band", so tbh i feel pretty insulted.
tbh he's right berk.

Static 02-04-2008 03:35 PM

yeah he is

Berk 02-04-2008 03:37 PM
tbh he's right berk.
tbh he i flat out suck at math. i dont need to Concentrate on school, just math in general (but i dont have math anymore). Im doing fine in all my other classes.

Obelisk 02-04-2008 03:41 PM
tbh he's right berk.
Let's do some math for him...

17.32 posts per day = let's assume that Berk takes 1 minute for each post. 17.5 minutes a day.

17.5 minutes a day = 106hrs over the past year spent on MXDP.

How much time do people spend in math classes? 50 x 90minute classes? 75hours?

So, we can sum this up by a simple statement.

If MXDP > Math, then Math = Fayle.

Janeway 02-04-2008 03:43 PM

I think I'm going to read Q by Luther Blissett.

logic is flawed.

i sleep atleast 8 hours a day.

8 hours a day * 365 days = 2920 hours of sleep

2920 / 75 hours of math class = 38.93333333

So I would sleep almost 39x more than I spend in math class.

Sleep >>>>>>>>>> Math, then Math = Fayle?

Berk 02-04-2008 03:51 PM

lawl i sleep like 7 hours a day

Obelisk 02-04-2008 03:52 PM

One time I used trig @ work.

I've been employed at various jobs for 10 years.

One Time.

Panopticon 02-04-2008 03:52 PM

logic is also flawed because you spend 75 minutes in math class and you're not taking weekends into account. someone will spend more time on MX on the weekend, because they aren't in school.

Win A Rabbit 02-04-2008 03:52 PM

The only time I used advanced math was to explain to my dad what advanced math was.

Panopticon 02-04-2008 03:54 PM

yeah basically.

billdrum 02-04-2008 04:13 PM

I think it's basically safe to say in general that Berk spends way too much time here.

Nahie 02-04-2008 04:15 PM

hi billdrum

Chippy569 02-04-2008 04:17 PM

if you're not doing any engineering, chances are you won't need calc in your day to day life.

then again, if you ever want to understand statistics or econ, knowing calc can help immensely.

but everyone knows you don't study math to learn math. you study math to learn problem solving and logic. math is just a convenient way to teach and evaluate learning, since there are definite answers.

billdrum 02-04-2008 04:18 PM

hay

naaaaaaaaaaw

Chippy569 02-04-2008 04:21 PM

maybe.

Win A Rabbit 02-04-2008 04:21 PM

neigh.

i hate doing writeups.

i feel like it's way too long, but i don't want to leave stuff out.

it's tough to ask for free stuff (partnering) when you've never done this before and have nothing but a huge writeup to (try to) prove you're not just scamming them for free stuff.

Drum Phil 02-04-2008 04:21 PM

Bored.

BummerJonny 02-04-2008 04:23 PM

what WOULD be interesting is if someone counted the ratio of berks useful posts to his useless ones...

Drum Phil 02-04-2008 04:25 PM

Done.

13,190 Useless
0 Useful

Just yanking your chain berk. Im sure you've actually made some useful posts.

Win A Rabbit 02-04-2008 04:26 PM

Yeah Berk. You need to pick up your game and make some useful posts.

It's not like this is the internet.

Futuro 02-04-2008 04:30 PM

oliv_da_skinmasher 02-04-2008 04:51 PM

Unlucky phil.

I have an audition on sat which is pretty cool.

Just hope my missing tom mount arrives in time

Drum Phil 02-04-2008 04:53 PM

Yup. Part of an oil rig.

And since yesterday, its struts have gone missing.

fishbulb 02-04-2008 05:02 PM

My essay for Pink's splash rocks.

BummerJonny 02-04-2008 05:02 PM

lol

who the **** would want them...

Win A Rabbit 02-04-2008 05:08 PM

goddamn.

i'm reading over my writeup, and 75% of the sentences start with "We" or start as "as of our last meeting, we"

fuk fuk fuk fuk fuk. i was hoping to get it sent out tonight but it reads really weird. i'll rewrite it after the meeting and send it out tomorrow.

now onto other stuff to do before the meeting that i've put off too long. :(

Futuro 02-04-2008 05:12 PM
