Watch out, Johnny RIAA here is looking to obtain some "bootlegs."

Flagjacket 04-13-2008 10:08 PM

Word on the net is that I can score some fresh bootleg mp3/wma/ac4 media files here!

the-UK-ska-scene 04-19-2008 08:42 AM

superskankinactionhero 04-19-2008 10:19 AM

i just realised they're playing the rock am ring in june which i have tickets for woop woop!

TakeWarning 04-20-2008 05:45 AM

They're playing next week.

I hope they'll finally play the songs I've never seen them play yet, like I Still Love You Julie and Those Anarcho Punx Are Mysterious.

lynch_me 04-20-2008 09:08 AM

I saw them last month, and the only song that they play off of Axl was pints of guinness.

Lame.

Last time I saw them they played mainly New Wave stuff (before it came out), and it was quite boring.

Show us what you've got in that trenchcoat.

jonspeaks22 04-28-2008 03:04 PM

These guys are really nice breath of fresh air from the normal rock radio music. They've been play for a while and its a good breakthrough

AM! are releasing The Original Cowboy, which is the original recordings from As The Eternal Cowboy on Fat Wreck in July. Should be pretty interesting to hear.

Liebensaft 04-23-2009 10:56 AM

Brad returns.

Against Me! have realized that there's only so many ways they can get old fans to give them money.

kitsch 04-23-2009 11:50 AM

yea im not spending money on that.

Twin Human Highway Flares 04-24-2009 12:33 AM

I'll buy it just for the hell of it/for the collection aspect. I realized recently that I really like New Wave and SFAFC, albeit for reasons different than those for which I like RAR and Crime etc.

TakeWarning 04-24-2009 04:17 AM

Buy it?

Hellz nah, just download it, Tom Gabel won't mind.

christsimpson 04-24-2009 04:32 AM

no because he's an "anarchist"

kitsch 04-25-2009 09:04 PM

Klekticist 06-08-2009 04:09 PM

i'm REALLY trying to get into them....

boundbytransience 06-08-2009 07:31 PM

Don't feel bad if you don't.
I never really got into them, personally.

Just don't go to Gainesville expecting sympathy.

Twin Human Highway Flares 06-09-2009 01:22 AM

So Warren's out of the band.

http://ifeelsicktomystomach.blogspot.com

TakeWarning 06-09-2009 04:13 AM

I'll miss his beard, but that's about it.

Liebensaft 06-09-2009 12:31 PM

"We told Warren this afternoon that we are going to look for a new drummer. Andrew, James and I made the decision a couple days ago over lunch. I told them that I didn’t want to play music with Warren anymore. They both agreed that this was a necessary step, it’s been a long time coming. Warren’s heart hasn’t been in this for a while now."

Sounds like a meeting of the popular girls in middle school. In reality, Warren's heart isn't in it because he wants to play good music.

AIRIC 06-10-2009 12:03 PM

Exactly Joe. Warren decided he didn't want to play shitty pop music anymore. He realized that when Tom does that stupid deep voiced singing thing it should be a scream.

AIRIC 06-10-2009 12:07 PM

Also based on that blog Tom is one ****ed up guy.

Liebensaft 06-10-2009 12:46 PM

For real. They posted a thing on myspace saying Warren decided to leave the band and totally wanted to do it himself because he's opening a Mexican restaurant called Boca Fiesta in Gainesville.

Liebensaft 06-25-2009 09:47 PM

For anyone interested, this is The Original Cowboy, the first recordings/demos from As the Eternal Cowboy.

Twin Human Highway Flares 06-26-2009 12:29 AM

Man, I'll be buying this just 'cause but it isn't really worth having. It's just shittier versions of the songs. Except Cavalier Eternal which is exactly the same.

TakeWarning 06-26-2009 03:56 AM

Thanks for posting, I love stuff like this.
