Because, correct me if I'm wrong but a VERY large majority of the US population is Jewish, a lot of whom are in high positions and the US government do not want to upset them, i.e. Israel is dominantly a Jewish country.

I'm fairly certain the majority of the US is far and away Christian, protestant. I doubt a large number of everyday citizens are jewish, or as large as you are led to believe. Yes, there are some jews up there in rank, but most of our government is white, protestant, male.

yeah sorry I didn't phrase correctly. What I meant to say was that a large amount of the population was Jewish, not that the population was predominantly Jewish.

Um...VERY large majority? The USA is mainly Christian; I'd say it's about 70% Christian, with about 60% of that 70% being Protestant and the other 40% being Catholic. The other 30% is about 25% Jewish and 5% assorted religions (Buddhism, Islamic, etc.). Those are just guesses, though.

So...yeah, that's a huge exaggeration, but I wouldn't doubt the part about the Jews in the government trying to protect Israel. It's a longer story than that, though.

I look objectivly at both sides, I am not religious nor atheist, both seem absurd to me (I find religion to be rediculous and just don't participate, its a nonfactor in my life). I'm not trying to infringe on anyone's beliefs, just stating facts that I have personally seen.
