I think the answer is further back in this thread, Ripper22 asked the same question a little while ago. If you've been banned recently, it might be to do with that.

well no, i havent been banned recently, so im stumped.

Why are these "best lyricist" and "best death metal growl" etc threads not closed? they are clearly against the rules but they stay open..I dont understand it.

The mods in their infinite wisdom are taking their time

Not really much of a question but more of a statement. These threads have been around for quite a few days now, but i've seen other threads being shut down, while these remain untouched. Even if they get a lot of responses, it's still against the rules.

They leave threads open that are against the rules if they create good discussion...

I leave some of them open so people can't say "haven't seen one of these for a while," and also to have a better reason to close threads that are similar.
