It is a bit queer :amaze: There is a terrible amount of bands around here. Lots of emo crap, makes it harder for us.

Real music is never going to get into the mainstream anymore, it just won't happen.

Sometimes it's better if it's not in the mainstream though.

I pray dialy that that doesn't happen to Dragonforce any more than it already has.

Really :lol:, which one, i've never gotten into them, too much cheese, and too much going on for me.

I'd say rhapsody are cheesier, only because of the use of the choir, and utterly prediciable guitar work.

ah yes i remember this from yesterday in teh DT thread :)

The first time i heard DragonForce i was reminded strongly of dance music.

That kind of very high speed, upbeat power metal is probably closest to dance that metal gets.
But I feel 'force crossed a line that should never, ever be crossed with that unspeakably awful chavy keyboard solo on the last tour.

Rhapsody win for being a terribly daft power metal band.
