You guys should rename the thread "Metal up your Ass!"
that would be cool, but it has to have the name "Metallica"

lightningmetal666 08-22-2005 04:16 PM

I think that it does have to have metallica in it. After all this is an official metallica thread.

Metallica up your *** would be a cool name.

BTW, what's up munky. Haven't talked to you for months it seems. It's cool that they made you a mod.
What scales does Hammet uses in his solos?
He uses a lot of B Phrygian and E Aeolian. I've also noticed his use of harmonic minor scales. IE Blackened.

Chu 08-22-2005 05:38 PM
Well, the reason you can hear the bass better on St.Anger is because that was the only good thing Bob Rock did for Metallica!
Yet your last post you were saying how you can't hear the bass?
Make up your mind please.

It's not Bob Rock's fault Metallica changed, they were going to change, get over it.

munky's a mod? He's definately deserving of it, but I don't see it

Joe 08-22-2005 05:54 PM

Ah, home sweet home :thumb:

What and What? Man I wish I knew more theory...

So new name for the thread, eh? Just some mods getting kind of bored, I would assume. Or maybe a thought to get rid of n00bs making Official Threads?

It's not cool or anything, but just because we need it, how about "Metallica (that's 2 l's and 1 t)"

munky_magik 08-22-2005 05:55 PM

No he isn't. I think that it may be the stars that have caused the confusion.

Welcome back

Why do people spell Metallica wrong?
May be a bit of an elitest point of view, but it annoys me :upset:

Joe 08-22-2005 06:05 PM

The stars are confusing, but ken gave them to certain users that deserve them, such as munky :thumb:

Thanks, chu. A week in Cali is fun, but I like home

I don't know why it's always spelled wrong. Stupid kids.

All solos in that song are great. Such a fun song.

clairvoyant 08-23-2005 12:37 AM

Yea Sanitarium is fairly easy but you can get a workout in the downpicking field during the middle of the song.

Chu 08-23-2005 05:09 AM

What are we doing about teh covers now?
My brother just layed down the drums for For Whom The Bell Tolls pretty good, and I'm probably going to try the guitar soon, if someone else wants to, go ahead, but yeah, if you still wanna do it, just say so.
