i know of a thrash band called Suicidal Angels, might be thinking of them?

Just got back from Nile/Immolation/Krisiun/Dreaming Dead (Abigail Williams canceled, thank Satan).

Immolation was inf[I]u[/I]ckingcredible, they played 2 new songs called "Power and Shame" which was pretty brutal and straightforward and another called "A Glorious Epoch" which was really epic and plodding. Other songs they played were Passion Kill, Under the Supreme, Challenge the Storm, Father You're Not a Father, and Wolf Among the Flock. Pretty solid setlist, and I met Ross Dolan while Nile was setting up which was sweet as ****. I also got a Majesty & Decay shirt which I'm wearing proudly as I type this.

I also met the girls from Dreaming Dead and got a signed CD from them, they were surprisingly solid musically and they put on a great show tbh.

considering the rest of the bands on the bill i wouldn't be surprised if they just got booed hardcore on the first day of the tour and decided to cancel altogether

I saw them open for Enslaved back in '06 I think, and their keyboardist was on my nuts.

They sucked horribly. Just some core bullpoop masquerading itself as Black Metal.

It's just overdone melodic death metal, I don't see anything resembling hardcore or black metal with them.

Did their singer do the whole scream into the mic, it sounds trained, turn me up! try again, still strained, turn me up! and have the soundguy turn him up until it sounded like he can shriek thing?

I have no idea. I don't remember. I do remember the singer saying "Who wants to hear some ****ing black metal?" some time during their set.

I can't stop listening to Nile after seeing them the other night. They're so much better than I remember thinking they were, especially Annihilation of the Wicked.

I'd go see Nile tbh. They'd probably be really good live

and I enjoy some of the stuff I've heard on CD.

Yeah they were really tight and put on a great show, the crowd was really into it too.
