That Leper Messiah riff is so Killing.../Peace Sells its not funny.
Brittallica: You aren't making any sense at all. I don't know whether you are saying Mustaine is low for using Mechanix on Killing Is My Business, or he is low for saying that his riff is in Leper Messiah. |
he's far from beeing a mexican.
Rob is the mexican of the band.
What is Hammett? He does look hispanic to me. |

God I hate how I talk...lets try again. why didnt he just use another progression?
why did he have to use the one he gave to Metallica |
What is Hammett? He does look hispanic to me.
he was born on California, legally he's not mexican, naturally i don't know, he could be hispanic, but just for the skin color, he doesn't have hispanic characteristics. |
What is Hammett? He does look hispanic to me.
I think he might be Hawaiin (I can't spell that word). On Some Kind of Monster it showed his birthday party and there was all sorts of hawaiin stuff there so I'm just assuming. |

yeah, but didn't they always have like hawaiian shirts friday or something like that? |
Maybe, but Lars was bitching about how he wished someone would throw him a nice birthday party with dutch food. And since he is dutch(I think) it would make sense that Kirk would be hawaiian.
But who knows, I could be totally wrong. |
Kirks from California, the Hawaian shirts are because he loves to surf. I think Rob has Hawain or hispanic heritage though.

i just watched the some kind of monster documentary
i dont know about anyone else but it kind of made me respect st.anger, not because of the music, but of the thoughts, feelings and ideas that fuelled it and to add i thought that during the movie lars said he is dutch?? neways, thought it was a good movie to watch, their producer guy seems like a great guy. what did everyone else think about skom? |
Pretty much exactly the same way you felt about it actually!
It gave me a new respect for St. Anger definately, I could listen to it with a clear head about Metallica, when you think about it and compare it to how Metallica were at the time, it's a totally new way to write songs. I think they did a pretty good job too! Although I was/am really disaapointed at Lar's drums.. |
yeah thats what i was thinking when i heard st.anger for the first time, lars didnt really try to make st anger as good as it could b for some reason, dont ya rekon kirk shud hav more of a say? hes very laid back and un opinionated if thats a word
|
hey metallica rock nbut i think they have lost their ways...... but thats because james had a massive rehab moment and the bassist left and so on. it might spice it up agian like when they did s&m (not the way you like it guys ;)
|
oh and btw poo
|
It's stuff like that last post of yours that can get you banned.
I'm sure after a few listens I'll like whatever Metallica puts out this time. I'm not expecting anything spectacular, so when I don't get another Master of Puppets I'm not going to cry a river over it like people did with St. Anger. |
I reckon it'll be better than St. Anger, i think Rob might help them come up with a few good ideas.
|
Lars is from Denmark so the flags he uses on his drumkits are danish
|
Copenhagen to be precise
"sometimes I just Missed My Little Danish buddy" |
lars is from denmark
"i just wanted to talk to my little danish friend" -dave mustaine- |
james is from LA
lars is from gentofte, denmark kirk is from San Francisco rob is from california im so uncool... |

Yeah, i agree w/ all u guys about SKOM and St anger. And idk if any of u have heard much of the live stuff from last yr or 03...but i like the new vibe they got w/ Rob....and it can only get better from here ya know?
|

i agree. I was really dissapointed about the solos :upset: but the rest is good(except Lars) |

yeah i was surprised there were no solos, but is an angry album , with rob aboard i think the next album will be quite good, if its a st.anger with solos i will be very pleased, cant wait for the next album to come out, i suggest to every metallica fan not pleased with st anger to watch SKOM, it will open your eyes to the album |
solos were added live and they made them much better
|
I watched SKoM, and now I understand why it was crap. That doesn't change the fact that it's awful, though.

Meh, personally I think it's the best original release since ...AJFA!
So to you sir, I say fuck you. |
