There's a lot of junk in the genre, that's for sure.

i can't even sit through a suffocation album without my mind wondering

Old Suffocation rules imho.

The three BDM bands I mentioned are really the only BDM bands other than Suffo that I listen to.

I too cannot get into Suffocation...I've heard Effigy and Pierced and I get tired of it after a song.

However, I really enjoyed them the time I saw them live.

I can't sit through a whole Suffocation album but they have some REALLY killer songs, and they're great live too.

what do you mean by this, are you saying incantation influenced bdm or something? cause i'm pretty sure they aren't, suffocation is probably the first and the most influential bdm.

as far as bdm goes defeated sanity and suffocation are my favourites, but i listen to and enjoy quite a few others.

I haven't really been able to listen to full albums by them since I saw them live, I just keep on wanting them to sound that good and they just don't on recording.
