hey guys, whatsup, i got my bass back:D. and i talked to her about getting an amp for christmas. she said if i do good in school for one week straight, wihtout one complaint by one teacher. on friday at 330 shes going in to my school, and talkn to them, if they all say ive improved. the amp is mine. but i have to keep up my good behiavour and attitude till easter if i want to go to onondaga camp for a month this summer. anyways. i really need to change my act, whats happening?
jiggy, to record you need a 1/4 into 1/8 adapter. you can get them at radio shack for about 2 bucks.
this ashdown funkn showed me is compelling.

i get about 1 phone call home aday, or a letter, or something. its pretty stupid, cause the teachers hold something against you for ever. so i just got to shutup, do my work, bring up some marks, change my attitude a little bit, and ill be getting an amp..

Suppose I have a maple neck and the choice of one stringer (stripe) of wood in it. Which would give me the most growl. Which would give me the most stability? My choices are:
Bubinga
Purpleheart
Shedua
Walnut
Wenge.

purpleheart, its what my conklin neck is made of. it has a nice crunch, and a definate growl

Wenge woulnt give more growl? I was thinking either wenge or purpleheart (my first choice was purpleheart). Would purpleheart provide stability in the neck?

the next step up in denseness of wood would be ebony(hardest wood used for basses)

yea no kidding, i thought there would be more death heads, but i guess its all the people stuck listening to zepplin n pink floyd, dont get me wrong, i like both those bands. but with classic rock, theres only so much of that one band you can listen to, there wont ever be something new by that artist.
