Lord demon Dark: I'm not Goth, I'm pegeean freak!

Let's all send this guy email bombers in the near future?
It's not winter... it's just freezing. It was boiling a few nights ago as well.

My therapist sucked but I didn't want to tell her that because I thought she might feel bad and talk about me with her intelligent therapist friends and laugh at me so I told her everything as all better.

/idiot.
Are you really that wary of yourself to worry about the therapist discussing you? Even though you are now talking to people you don't know and can't see how they react?

And don't therapists have clauses in their contracts that stop them from sharing any information outside their sessions?

Lord Abortion 08-04-2005 04:01 PM

all the goth girls I know at school are ugly... sorry for being superficial, but there it is, not perticularly nice personality wise either, they all adore me though, can't think why...

/josh can back me up on this if he comes back on (sack-man)

evilmenhavenosongs 08-04-2005 04:01 PM

Yes. I am that bad. I used to try and wipe my mind of all thoughts because I believed people could hear them but I've mostly stopped that now. I don't like to talk about stuff on msn because I'm afraid other people will read it. I am wholly irrational.

Indeed. Besides therapist see a LOT of people with even worse (or sillier :p) problems than yours. Why would she talk about you with the other therapists (which btw are not more intelligent than you). Besides, she has a life, why think about you all the time :p

dont worry I get this too sometimes. I sense that every action of mine (and of people in general) is stored as a form of energy. Other times I get the feeling that my every single move is being captured or that my world is an illusion...

/doh!

Moses 08-04-2005 04:11 PM

I really used to be like that when I went through depression. When I got out of it I started becoming only rational and thought with logic about everything. Other things like art and love couldn't be explained with extreme logic and forced me turned to religion and other mystic things.

Also to Steerpike: I can tell that you probably haven't broke through the barrier to euphoric happiness because of your nature. Have you had any luck with the ladies yet? Maybe love and a spiritual connection could help you.

evilmenhavenosongs 08-04-2005 04:17 PM

<3 Willy Wonka.

I'm hoping I don't have as bad a year at school as I did last year when I go back. It'll be a whole new start, I'd better make the most of it.

Moses 08-04-2005 04:18 PM

If you're going to do that then you might have to ignore your depression and fake it for a little while till it actually becomes reality. That's how I fought through it after I stood up to my step-father. I kind of tricked myself into it almost.

emotional fulfilment. Too bad another human being is needed :upset:

What is euphoric happiness?

Thanks for the links moses, I'll make sure I'll read them both tomorrow (it's a bit late for big english texts now :p)

evilmenhavenosongs 08-04-2005 04:19 PM

Thanks, I'll try that. :)

I'm that transparent, huh?

And no. I haven't really been able to get out as much as I'd like.

Moses 08-04-2005 04:21 PM

Don't read the myspace one that's all fake and to show how retarded our society has become. Euphoric happiness is basically full content and being happy with the state of your life just because you are alive.

Wow, it seems you say that everytime, Steerpike. I'm completely un-busy and can do whatever I feel like right now since Subway is closed for remodleing. Anyway it completely sucks though because my girlfriend is out of town for another 10 days (already been 5 weeks) and that's the only person I really want to spend time with right now. It's easy to see that you're a cynic though.

So far, I have yet to hit euphoria. That's true.

I've been striving to keep the depressive episodes away by standing firm in the belief that I am the master of my own destiny.

Kingofdudes 08-04-2005 04:23 PM

I think we we need a new thread name: Some Kinda R&M Therapy Session

Moses 08-04-2005 04:25 PM

Definately.

evilmenhavenosongs 08-04-2005 04:27 PM

It would turn into a joke. Can you imagine the spam by even the first week?

My brother has started using the word "homie" and just told me this joke:

Why is a seagull called a seagull?
Because if it flew over land it would be called a baygull.

I paraphrase, it was worse in real life.

Moses 08-04-2005 04:29 PM

That joke was amazing.

What I do when I feel down is fantasizing that an obscure, more confident and mature self of mine is coming to solace me. It's like if I have a discussion with my future self. It's soothing to know that there's still time to change things. We're still young arent we?
I think we we need a new thread name: Some Kinda R&M Therapy Session
haha, why not? It's much more easier to interact on the net.

The only problem is that this thread is living up to the current title, heh.

Of course, Jelle is going to subconsciously add a ? to the end of Therapy.

R&M Therapy? Session?! Oh boy!

Oh, wait. :(

I prefer to think of myself as a sardonic existentialist, but okay.

Truth is, I don't have the money to pay for car insurance, so I can't get my license. And that means I'm a slave to everyone else's schedules. Which in turn means I'm grounded to home more often than not.

It also doesn't help that the places I like to go aren't great places to meet local women. Barnes & Noble, Spencer's Gifts, the movies, that sort of thing. My campus would yield better results.

Moses 08-04-2005 04:36 PM

Well I met my girlfriend at school because she was good friends with one of my good friends and first time we met she poked me and said "poke". We didn't start going out till we were at one of my other friends shows for his band and she needed a fake boyfriend because this one guy was hitting on her. We were flirting like crazy and and I invited her to come over and we were flirting and somehow we just started making out.

It's amazing how many people I know with stories like that.

evilmenhavenosongs 08-04-2005 04:41 PM

Who met their girlfriends by poking?

/has never had a real boyfriend to speak of.

/is bitter.

:)

Rothmans 08-04-2005 04:44 PM

I am unlucky with girls everything will be grand and I would say something like

So have you always been that fat?

or I remember once they said like some bs like can we still be good friends I acted like the nob I am and said I never considered us good friends in the first place.

Stoic 08-04-2005 04:45 PM

hmm...not that much :p

poking is most of the times a sign that one person has feeling for another. Experience speaking (lots of TV series and movies :D)

Kingofdudes 08-04-2005 04:48 PM

I have "had" 3 girlfriends. Every single "relationship" has crashed and burned, and left me feeling like crap. I think i am content with being single at the moment.
