http://www.robertrandolph.net/
There ya go. Looks like he's opening for Santana in Houston (that is where you live right?). He's having a free show in Pittsburgh, hope I can go :) NP: The Grateful Dead-Samson & Delilah
What?!?!?! Santana with Robert Randolph! I'm going even if I have to kill someone. :D Edit: How much do you think it would be? |
I'm not Badmoon, you are referring to me getting the link before you, right? I see no other explanation.
I thought you were badmoon. I don't know why ;) |
Just to get a conversation and a new mix going.....

I really dig this song. |
5. Pink Floyd-Us and Them
I didn't know this was Anti-war. Then again, I never knew much about it or many of the lyrics. |
I'm ordering these...

Holy crap, that movie has the guy from The Karate Kid in it.
|
Holy crap, that movie has the guy from The Karate Kid in it.
Yeah, Ralph Macchio. The movie is supposably very cool (Says the guitar forums guys). Steve Vai (Who stars in it) does most the guitar parts, and Ry cooder does the soundtrack. download the trailer. |
Steve Vai is only in the final scene, I think. He plays like a guitar playing demon or something, and Ry Cooder is playing what Ralph Macchio is supposed to be playing. I only saw the very end.
|
I've got the guitar battle downloaded :)
|
The next time I go to Blockbuster I'll get that.
Would any of you know if Sun Ra's Atlantis is any good? |

Metaphorically? Otherwise, he at least plays a human on the outside. Actually I'm pretty sure Steve Vai wrote and played Ralph's final solo (perhaps final), where he battles Steve. |

Yeah, Eugene's Trick Bag. |
Metaphorically? Otherwise, he at least plays a human on the outside.
Actually I'm pretty sure Steve Vai wrote and played Ralph's final solo (perhaps final), where he battles Steve.
He looks like a human, but the final scene is supposed to take place in Hell. If Ralph Macchio's character beats Steve Vai, than the Devil (Scratch) will give Willie Dixon his soul back. You might be write about Steve playing the final solo, but Ry plays all the slide stuff. |
I could send it to you through AIM if you want it.
|
I have the clip dowloaded already.
You might be write about Steve playing the final solo, but Ry plays all the slide stuff.
Yeah, Iknow he plays the slide stuff. |
So, Tom Petty is really good.
|
I need to buy a Petty greatest hits, all I've heard are a couple of his most famous songs and his work with The Wilburies.
|
I have the sound track of Crossroads on viynl.
|
So, Tom Petty is really good.
^*disagrees* |
What's your beef with Petty, Schyma?
|
Nothing he's just not that good I haven't heard anything that is that impressive. I have about 4 of his albums and none of them really strike me as something outstanding or amazing. I just don't see what's so great about him.
|
I like a lot of Tom Pettys songs, but I wouldn't really call him like super amazing anything. He's like Americas (extremely) watered-down version of Neil Young.
So I watched The Grateful Dead Movie last night. It was soo awesome. I would die to see a Grateful Dead concert back in the day. I also watched that Paul McCartney in Red Square concert, which was also very cool. |
So, Tom Petty is really good.
I really like Tom Petty. |
So, Tom Petty is really good.
Yes, this is true. |
There's one awesome Tom Petty album but I forget what it was called.
|
There are a few really awesome Tom Petty albums
|
Did any one see Bob Dylan on 60 minutes sunday night?
|
Name those "few" if you will.

I agree. He's not bad, just not that great. |
Did any one see Bob Dylan on 60 minutes sunday night?
No, is it the one where talks about Chronicles? |
Did any one see Bob Dylan on 60 minutes sunday night?
Yeah, I did. He had an annoying voice but he sounded pretty cliche resiliesnt rock star. |
Name those "few" if you will.
He's got a bunch of great albums (my uncle let me borrow most of his discography once). Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Hard Promises Wildflowers Full Moon Fever **** the Torpedoes |
Really cool avatar DMV. :thumb:
How come it wasn't mentioned in here? |
No, is it the one where talks about Chronicles?
Yes, and also about "Like a Rolling Stone" being the number one song on Rolling Stone's list, i guess its a re-run |
Really cool avatar DMV.
