Disconnecktie: The Faithful Vampire
I never got into Emery.
Me either.

There is one song that was always kinda catchy, though...

But I forget the name.

cbmartinez 07-29-2005 12:05 PM

"Walls" is their only good song.

I'm not much for Norma Jean, but they do have hopelessly cool song titles.

cbmartinez 07-29-2005 12:08 PM

Yeah, they go a little overboard sometimes though. Especially The Chariot.

"Someday, In the Event That Mankind Actually Figures Out What It Is That This World Revolves Around, Thousands Of People Are Going To Be Shocked And Perplexed To Find Out It Was Not Them. Sometimes This Includes Me."

The whole "omgthetwowordsendorstartthesame!@!@!!!" gimmick is lame. Their first album names weren't horrible.

omg lol Chevellevitate

Things like "I Used to Hate Cell Phones, but Now I Hate Car Accidents." are really cool.

The Chariot is just...much too overdone.

Kind of like their music.

/burn

I decided to go through all my music and listen to the stuff that I haven't before.

So far, for bands that start with the letter "A", I've got 500 songs to listen to.

:(

Post 2 polls, one during the night and the day:?

thisis sceneSUICIDE 07-29-2005 12:16 PM

Good job, Jon. Haha.

Yay for the Dresden Dolls. They're quite fun.

Tjebby 07-29-2005 12:17 PM

The Spill Canvas doens't do much for me.

Firecracker 07-29-2005 12:19 PM

Hi people.

Work was much more bearable. I am no longer 'Rage-a-hol'

I'mma have to add their self-titled to my list of things to listen to.

"Truce" is an amazing song though.

cbmartinez 07-29-2005 12:21 PM

Their new stuff is like radio friendly soft rock.

O' God, The Aftermath is such a cool album.

Definitely.

"Girl Anachronism" makes me want to BREAK things, and it's nothing but a piano.

My favorite one by them is "Gravity", though. Hands down.

His acoustic stuff was ****. DD ****, even. (**** = Naughty word for breasts)

Their new stuff, although the verses have a nice groove to them, the choruses are just meh pop-punk.

I'm an albaholic.
O' God, The Aftermath is such a cool album.
It's obviously not as good, but it's still such a solid follow up. And it's better than The Chariot.
And it's better than The Chariot.
Amen.

Better than the Chariot is not an accomplishment.

Not only is it not as good, it's not good.
*wonders if cady will be in an ipod commercial.*
I already am, you just don't know it. :amaze:

Not really, but we had one of our like 10 people dance parties the other night.

And somebody said me and a friend danced like the "crazy rock chick" iPod commercial.

I laughed for a good 20 minutes.
*wonders if cady will be in an ipod commercial.*
ipods are complete ripoffs. They are too expensive for the poor storage that they give.

What I hate most is people who have like 20 songs on their ipod. Makes me want to kill them, says me.

I will post 2 polls at a time.

I was just saying how it impressive it is considering they lost Scogin and then compared it to Scogin's new band. Sure, it's a hella ripoff of Botch, but it's still acheives brutality and is far better musically than JUN JUN WEE BTM.
