From Hell also had a very good Depp role in my opinion and I enjoyed the movie alot more than most of his movies.
I heard that in From Hell some guy gets his throat cut and there's like waterfalls of blood everywhere. Sounds cool. :thumb:

Well, I feel that two purchases barely counts as a haul.

Bartender 09-24-2005 08:00 AM

Ah, a fair point. I thought you meant you'd only just made it out of the store alive or something.

Thor 09-24-2005 08:01 AM

So people are stealing albums now? Is that what this is?

munky_magik 09-24-2005 08:04 AM
Ah, a fair point. I thought you meant you'd only just made it out of the store alive or something.
Well, there where a few dodgy types in there...but it wasn't what I meant.

My computer keeps on making noises when I'm not paying attention, and then not explaining why it made them.

NP: Daft Punk - Discovery. It's been way too long since I last listened to this.

Thor 09-24-2005 08:16 AM

Hey, do any other R&M regulars have a favorite football team?

Riva 09-24-2005 08:36 AM

I have quite a few favourite football teams.

AFL: The Adelaide Crows (plus I sometimes support the Brisbane Lions)
Rugby League: The North Queensland Cowboys or the Brisbane Broncos
Rugby Union: NSW Waratahs and of course the Australian team.

Lunch 09-24-2005 08:37 AM

J-E-T-S.

I can't believe how badly we got owned in week 1, but at least we beat Miami.

Lord Abortion 09-24-2005 08:41 AM

Hey 'tender, back I see, I apologise for my own work-related absence of the past couple of days.
I got both Falling into infinity and tales told by dead men today, they look awesome although I haven't heard much from them yet.

Man united are losing...:upset:

No it was a fluke free kick from Gamst- pedersen,
Newcastle are beating city 1-0 due to an Owen goal.

I see. I think my problem was that I read down to Manchester, and then stopped.
Sounds real fun and mature.
Pfft. When ten people had a hellish week of uni, you need to let loose one way or another, and I'm certainly not drinking or smoking to let loose.

So: it seemed certainly like a viable option.

You did a good job with that. That's a pretty tough guitar song on some parts.

Hey magicbus:

Hows about that MSU/U of I football game today?

thickasabrick 09-24-2005 01:44 PM

Holy shit...I thought this was the Classic Rock thread and I just about had a heart attack at how the conversation has changed so quickly! I read about three pages back before I realized this is the community thread. Pardon me.

I've done that thinking this was the Death Metal thread, and wondered why the Hell Illmatic and Jom were posting in there, and why there was no sign of Legions of Marduk and Unhappy Marshmallow, lol.

I hope we play State more than once this year. Last year it wasn't much of a rivalry :D

Also, the Yankees lost and the Sox are beating the O's! Yessss.

Kurtz 09-24-2005 04:51 PM

For some reason I'm getting real anxious about the USC-Oregon game :-\

NP: Boogie Down Productions - South Bronx

Illmatic 09-24-2005 05:20 PM

It couldn't possibly because the game is in Autzen Stadium and that USC has made a habit of sweating out close games against Pac-10 foes, right?

np: Bruce Spingsteen - Born to Run

Goddamn. We went over our download limit, never happened before, probably because my brother got his own computer. Anyways, the internet stopped working on this computer and the laptop, only my brother's computer worked, now it finally started again. This explains my absence.

Haha. I used to do that when I was on 200MB per month. Now I have unlimited.

superpeer 09-24-2005 05:40 PM

Apparently we went over 10GB this month, which is hard to believe.

Your brother is downloading too much pr0n, perhaps? Ah well, I should probably get started on some University work.

Kurtz 09-24-2005 05:46 PM

This IS NOT looking good at all.

Millions were killed today when both the Matt Leinart For Heisman and Reggie Bush For Heisman bandwagons flew off the tracks and exploded.

Nah, I'm not like that; I'm not fair-weather.

Our recievers can't catch anything so far, and we're pulling of really stupid penalties on defense. We've had at least two false starts and an bunch of holding calls. We need to shake things up soon.

Well, my point is that in the race to win the Heisman, a high-profile loss or poor performance will kill you.

If USC loses, the odds of Matt Leinart or Reggie Bush winning the Heisman are very slim.

I doubt Leinart would win, even if 'SC went undefeated.

I don't think the NCAA likes giving the same award to the same person two years straight. I could see Bush going for it if he going to be what he was last year.
