fuck the sports forum too, apparently
|
It's a community thread >=[
|
yeah, but it's not a sports forum community thread
|
american football is boring anyways
|
extremely so
|
i bet you ****ers like hockey, basketball or some **** like that.
|
i like basketball but hockey sucks as well.
football is just so unintersting to me. nothing happens. a bunch of guys huddle, then one guy puts his hands on another guys balls, grabs a football and throws it. stuff happens for 10 seconds. then they huddle some more. then they run around and jump all over each other. fun to play. gay to watch. |

NBA basketball has to be the worst sport to watch. it's literally the same thing every single game. the only time scoring really matters is in the last few seconds when the score is close, but they ruin that anyways by calling 100 time outs in the last minute. other than the last minute it's just the best team winning, every single time, with no chance for upsets or exciting game-breakers. eg. in football a guy runs in a kickoff for a TD, this is HUGE and almost certainly turns the table in his team's favour. in basketball you could score 3 or 4 unanswered baskets and it basically means nothing because it's such a tiny percentage of what the final score is going to be. hockey rapes basketball too. |
Waldo thinks hockey rules.
|
i like basketball but hockey sucks as well.
So let me get this straight. You rather see a team win 110-95 with no defensive strategy involved than seeing a physically demanding game with an immense amount of strategy. |
soccer is the only sport worth a ****
|
k i take it back i'd rather watch basketball than soccer
|
soccer is the only sport worth a ****
Soccer and hockey are extremely similar. |
well apart from all the pads, the skates, the ice, the sticks the puck and the size of the arena, the amount of players and the rules yes they are very similar.
|
Soccer and American Football = awesome
I really don't give a **** about other sports. and Green Bay is ****ing cold at the moment, and the packs are loosing....**** :upset: |
cricket and rugby league are my favourites :)
soccer is good too. |
i dont mind a bit of rugby. i prefer union though :/
|

Rugby is pretty cool, very tough ****. I really like Argentina.
I can't stand Basketball, the worst sport ever imo |
well apart from all the pads, the skates, the ice, the sticks the puck and the size of the arena, the amount of players and the rules yes they are very similar.
I wasn't talking about equipment there buddy. The scoring and the game play are basically identical. |
**** argentina the are small time. Aussies are the best in rugby
|
I wasn't talking about equipment there buddy. The scoring and the game play are basically identical.
lol no. theres 11 a side in soccer and they use a ball with their feet rather than a puck with a stick. If you mean that they pass it around a bit and then shoot then ues they are similar but so are many games in that respect. Actually i would say that apart from the passing and shooting aspect they really are nothing alike |
but i dont like aussies that much.
|

Txus I don't think we can see each other anymore :(.
|
I like Aussies. The ones here are huge sluts and sleep with everyone.
|
Txus I don't think we can see each other anymore :(.
There are always exceptions, you and riva and fosters are some of them :) <3 np: Boredoms |
yeah, but it's not a sports forum community thread
yeah lets go back to talking about drugs and downloading albums and how much we hate our parents. way more interesting topics. if something doesn't go your way, just complain about it!
You rather see a team win 110-95 with no defensive strategy involved than seeing a physically demanding game with an immense amount of strategy.
so do people only watch 5 minute SportsCenter highlights of NBA games and base their opinions of the entire sport on it or what.
eg. in football a guy runs in a kickoff for a TD, this is HUGE and almost certainly turns the table in his team's favour. in basketball you could score 3 or 4 unanswered baskets and it basically means nothing because it's such a tiny percentage of what the final score is going to be.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_madness upsets never happen in basketball, there are no exciting plays in basketball, and every football game is thrilling (like that Pittsburgh-Miami Monday Night Football game this year, thank god we had that on TV instead of boring old basketball). |
I like the NFL and NBA, I follow college basketball and football but eh.
I'm an NFL person though so whatever. More sports talk! |
Donald Driver ftw, 6 - 7 :D
|
so do people only watch 5 minute SportsCenter highlights of NBA games and base their opinions of the entire sport on it or what.
I don't see how I'm wrong. The NBA is 80% offense and 20% defense right now. |
okay.. so you like watching BASKETBALL but not football?
Some of us like watching black people run around with a brightly-colored ball. |
I have to disagree SPT, basketball is one of the only sports I like to watch occasionally. Baseball, on the other hand, is like watching paint dry.
|
Football (and by football, I mean that game where most of the action is with the foot) is sort of cool.
I have a friend from Brazil who made me watch a football match and I found it kind of humorous. |
I appreciate baseball for the strategy used but yes it does occasionally get boring. Unless its live, then its really cool.
|
I'm pulling for a Pats/Giants rematch, so the Pats can whip their candy asses again.
|
I vote in favor of reintroducing pankration and possibly gladiatorial combat as well. Reality shows and mainstream sports no longer entertain America's jaded audiences.
|
Curling is the real man's game.
