I think you were thinking of Beating Heart Baby.

Hi Phil.

Corkofski 04-13-2006 08:43 AM

god, my mum is so unreasonable

she wont let me go to hastings, get ****ed off my face and stay overnight in a field. doesnt mean i'm not going tho :P

Talos 04-13-2006 08:59 AM

I want a kit thats black with black fittings but I dont wanna get an Export, I dont have much to spend either :( Anyone know any brands that have black hardware on a black kit thats under £600?

Corkofski 04-13-2006 09:06 AM

premier cabrias i think do

Talos 04-13-2006 09:20 AM

Theyre not much better than Exports though are they? Mahogany is ptretty much the same as Poplar isnt it?

spirit 04-13-2006 09:23 AM

The Pearl Reference series uses a certain amount of mahogany, and so does my old Tama Imperial Stars, and they sound pretty damn good to me. Stewart Copeland agreed.

Corkofski 04-13-2006 09:23 AM

hmm
i own one

i like it, but the tom mounts are a pos. the ball joint went on mine.

fishbulb 04-13-2006 09:27 AM

Morning people.

Talos 04-13-2006 09:29 AM

I saw a black on black Cabria on eBay and it was going for like £600, it said Limited Edition though so I dunno how rare they could be. Also, I have no experience with Mahogany so I dont know how good/bad it is.

I might have to go with an Export, ive been reading about them after the flame fest yesterday lol. From what ive heard there not that bad, this was on various sites and PDF.

Zildjian 04-13-2006 09:48 AM

Why did you change your avatar, Mr. Sparkle was the best
Why did you change your avatar, Mr. Sparkle was the best
I wanted something new. And this way i can make fun of the duallist at the same time. If you really want sparkle back i can change it.

Corkofski 04-13-2006 10:12 AM

wiooo,, just won solitaire

fishbulb 04-13-2006 10:21 AM

Sweet!

Berk 04-13-2006 10:50 AM

Damn. When I search for viruses there usually like 10282035025708642752 adult oriented web-sites. My parents get really mad.

fishbulb 04-13-2006 10:52 AM

Do they know what you're looking at? And wow that must be awkward.

I have my own computer so it's all good for me.

Berk 04-13-2006 10:54 AM

Well I dont really look at p0rn but its the friggin pop-ups!
God I hate the internet.

maniac0796 04-13-2006 10:59 AM

Talos 04-13-2006 11:23 AM

EDIT - ^ Its gone but theres another one, but that finishes tomorrow and has a sticker on the reso  I dont have the money now either so I cant buy it if I wanted to. Talos 04-13-2006 11:34 AM

The Premier Goth Kit looks sweet if I could get a 13" Rack Tom in the same colours and stuff. Thats one of the problems, nowhere sells Premier by me. Thats why an Export would be good, every dealer sells Pearl and at quite good prices (The add-on toms).

PremierManiac 04-13-2006 11:49 AM

The Cabria is a good beginner kit. I suggest you buy one if you find one for a good price.

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-13-2006 11:55 AM

Woooo new laptop just came. wooooooooo

Talos 04-13-2006 11:56 AM
The Cabria is a good beginner kit. I suggest you buy one if you find one for a good price.
Yeah but im not a beginner, im more of an Intermediate player.

Undisco Kidd 04-13-2006 11:59 AM

Our school has a cabria. Not a fan.

Talos 04-13-2006 12:03 PM

Wheres Postman Pie when you need him?

Josiah 04-13-2006 12:17 PM

I just got home.. yesterday and today was my first time testifying in a court. It was interesting.. ironically very much like Law & Order, just uh a LOT more waiting.

Now to shed...

PremierManiac 04-13-2006 01:09 PM
Yeah but im not a beginner, im more of an Intermediate player.
Sorry, didn't know that. Don't get a Cabria.

maniac0796 04-13-2006 01:12 PM
Yeah but im not a beginner, im more of an Intermediate player.
Premier Artist series? Pearl export is a beginners kit IMO aswell.
Damn, if they still made Tama rockstars. That was like, the perfect intermediate kit for the drummer with a low budget. Lucky i got one :) !
What bout tama superstar? They seem pretty good. I think they replaced the rockstars. Dunno the prices though.

that black cabria looks sweet.

fishbulb 04-13-2006 01:36 PM

Talos 04-13-2006 01:37 PM

The Superstar is tempting, I was sure that was the kit I was gonna get. But then when I flamed some guy for saying that Exports are good it made me look into them and I like the look of some of the finishes.Theres too many in the price range, its just choosing the right one - TO MANIAC

Janeway 04-13-2006 01:38 PM

I used to get dragged to court with my dad when he had to deal with his plethora of speeding tickets. It sucked so bad getting to sit in the god awful wooden benches for three hours at a time.

I need to find more ska bands.

Drum Phil 04-13-2006 01:39 PM

Pespi:

Ska-P
Less than jake
Capdown
Reel big fish
Operation Ivy
Common Rider
Big Rig
Catch 22
Streetlight manifesto
Choking Victim
Mustard Plug
The hot quiche conspiracy
The Wayriders
Voodoo Glowskulls

and many more i cant be bothered to think of
