Ok - for a lecture tomorrow I'm supposed to have come up with half a dozen logos/designs for a product I will be advertising. Since I like to make my assignments relevant and useful, I'll be advertising my own EP.

I don't HAVE an EP yet, but I have enough to make it look like I do, and hopefully soon I'll be ready to actually put one together. And when the time comes, perhaps I'll be able to use this project.

But the point is, which of these do you fine people prefer? They're only rough mockups, so don't knock the photoshopping. :p

You have too many w's in your URL.

And I like "Posthuman 7" the most, but I don't care for the jagged-ness of the font.

Can't believe that I missed that.

WM I liked 1 and 6. What program are you doing that with?

lowsound

Wintermute 10-25-2006 03:38 PM

Haha...

http://www.subsonicsound.co.uk/uploads/logos.zip

And they were all done in photoshop.

Personally I lean towards 6 and 5. The figure on 5 is one of my girlfriend's rougher sketches.

One Groovin Clown 10-25-2006 03:39 PM

5 and 7 do it for me.

I want photoshop, problem is that I have to find a mac version. I would go with 6.

irishslappop 10-25-2006 03:41 PM

i like 1 and 5 the best.

1 because i feel that the static is representative of the whole "post human" thing. if its post humanity, there will be static.

and 5 basically because its a good drawing.

e p 10-25-2006 03:49 PM

5 because its a good drawing and the most quirky/less pretentious of the options

The Brad 10-25-2006 03:51 PM

Low Sound I have the CS2 suite for Mac.

douche

Jimbobntnr 10-25-2006 03:52 PM

I would go with 1 and 5.
6 is workable, but I think that the resolution needs to be higher on the foreground posthuman.
7 screams "neo-Madonna techno" to me.
I think the gradient is too harsh on 3.
I like the idea of 4, but it seems like it is just a part of something, something's missing.

The Brad 10-25-2006 03:53 PM

Jonly, do you want that J-Retro?

Jimbobntnr 10-25-2006 03:54 PM

Yes, yes I do. What's it sitting at now?

I'll do $140 for j00 papi. Taco flavored kisses for my Ben.

Not a keygen, but a sheet with keys.

Jimbobntnr 10-25-2006 04:04 PM

A preamp is still a little in the future for me. I have yet to completely strip the bass that I am working on right now, but when it's completed I will be looking you up.

The Brad 10-25-2006 04:05 PM

Alright, I am just giving you a heads up and a low price because I need to move my gear. I was just asking because I am taking the pups out of my P so I can mail them today.

So I got a ticket for my tint, should I reapply the same darkness after my inspection?

Yes.

Jimbobntnr 10-25-2006 04:16 PM

I don't know, but I still drive 20 mph over, even after my ticket. Just sayin'.

The Brad 10-25-2006 04:17 PM

Exactly, we have the answers, men.
Everyone has said reapply it but my mom is all Concernicus.

One Groovin Clown 10-25-2006 04:18 PM

You always have to sport the dark tint.

How much darker is your tint compared to the legal limit?

nicatterberry 10-25-2006 04:18 PM

Hello everyone.

thelowsoundofbass 10-25-2006 04:20 PM

i say reapply same tint and fight the charge. Just make sure that you change it to lighter before.

lowsound

The Brad 10-25-2006 04:23 PM

Well the tint shop is offering to take it off, then I go get my car inspected, and then they reapply it.

It's 5% and that's "limo tint", apparently you're not supposed to have any tint on the front in CA but most people have 30% to where it's like a 50% grey and you can see through the cabin.

One Groovin Clown 10-25-2006 04:24 PM

In Vancouver you're allowed tint only on the back windows.
Any on the front is an automatic ticket.

Thats crazy, I see people driving around with mirror tints all the time. Ontario is slack on tints, more concerned with real stuff to be worried about. Such as drinking and driving.
