I got a scholarship to pay for a good chunk of it and luckily my parents are willing to pay for a lot of it, and I'm personally paying about $300 a semester.
I applied for a ridiculous amount of random ****. My tuition is actually around 2300 a semester but it breaks down like this 1000 a year from the school for my marks 1000 need based scholarship repeated next semester then i get 3500 from the government of canada, a scholarship then 2000 for another scholarship then i get 6000 this year from the government (loan). So I'm getting 6000 to pay off a total of 800. So the 6000 will buy my laptop + books (possibly camera) and then I bank the rest and gain interest for when I have to pay my loan off. I posted this mostly for my own benefit though. |
Yes to liberal arts no no no to high tuition.

So someone in high school tells you how all this shit works right, 'cause tuition talk and campuses and how everythign works is lost to me
:-\ |
It's Chapman University in Orange, CA, which is just a few miles south of L.A. It's really nice, you should look into it if you're looking for schools in the area. Provided that you'd want a liberal arts education and you can afford the wildly high cost of tuition.
I'd hit all three chicks on the school's site. At the same time. For me, high tuition is no problem, but liberal arts is. |
Don't worry about it, you're only like 12 right?
I'd hit all three chicks on the school's site. At the same time.
There are some major babes here. But that goes for any college. |

Maybe its best to be ignorant right now.
Let me just tell you now that the Ontario University process is absolute hell, so prepare yourself. Your guidance counsellors should help you but it's not impossible to handle it yourself. Basically it goes like this: In september/october you notify the guidance department if you're applying to university/college. They put in your name and then a fwe months later they receive a username/pin number. You use this to login to the OUAC site where you insert all your info, apply to programs, etc. Then nothing happens for a while until out of nowhere you start receiving offers/denials/conditions. Then it gets crazy. It's not hell it just gets really stressful after a while. |
Jeez, Canadian system is all weird. :-P
Jeez, Canadian system is all weird. :-P
Well this is just the Ontario one but yeah it's really stupid. Lamest part is you have to pay 100 just to apply and that only gets you 3 programs. It's so overcomplicated. I got so much in loans but that's because I applied before I knew what I was getting scholarship/bursarie wise, and the deadline meant I wouldn't know until after I submitted the application. So now I have 6000 to pay off 800 dollars. |

Dude. I have an exam in less than an hour, it's a bit too late for that.
5:04pm rite here winnar
Yeah, but you slept. Cheater. |
It's only 12:15, but I'm downloading some albums:
Nas - Stillmatic Bone Thugs - Art of War |
Stillmatic is pretty good, but you need to get The Blueprint by Jay-Z to put 'Ether' into perspective.
|
I dont like the Blueprint. I'm a Reasonable Doubt fan.

Reasonable Doubt is better It's 3:09 here but since I don't have anything to do tomorrow I don't really care about sleeping |
