I thinking avout tuning my bass ADGC what some advatages and dissadavtages
Advantages, lower note, umm can't think of any others.
Disadvantages, one less higher note, maybe floppier strings.

My homecoming date cancelled...

Hmm..

And ADGC is tuning up.

Spaceman Spiff 10-03-2006 10:29 PM

Advantages: you have a C string.
Disadvantages: you don't have an E string.

It's preference, I wouldn't want a bass without an E. I'm quite content with a 6 string tuned standard. Eff altered tuning.

mastrrbasser 10-03-2006 10:29 PM

^^^^
adgc is tenor. it's one less lower string.
edit: to lowsound

I havent played my ibanez since last Wednesday.

I much prefer my fretless.

Spaceman Spiff 10-03-2006 10:32 PM

My voice is so tired from singing so much today.

I was thinking that he was tuning one step down on a five string.

The lead singer is losing his voice, but the band still kicks major ***.

Maybe he was just having an off night. I just remember that when I saw them the guitar player did a solo while flopping around on the ground.

Tyler Burkum is ferrociously talented. Hes not much of a contemporary christian player though, that was an accidentl

And no, hes actually losing his voice, thats why the band is breaking up.

Efrim 10-03-2006 10:45 PM

I just got a phone call from a Green Party representative telling me I need to be a writer. That was fun.

I dont like how overrated shred is, and how its generally thought to be easy.

Yeah, I'm a very exciting person. My nights are usually spent doing crazy **** like studying and reading. In fact, one time, I read so much I spent the rest of the night puking. I swore I would never read again, but damn, I just can't stop. I might be an addict. I might check myself in to rehab, I've got problems. I've tried getting drunk, but it's so boring. I find myself wishing I was in my room, partying with Telemachus.

Well, the Blue Jays managed to finish second place in the AL East. Take that Boston aka Gav! :D

Anyway, go Yankees!

I'm glad somebody finds my life funny. I always feel awkward in my classes when people start talking about partying. I have to work my *** off to keep from saying, "And you wonder why all of your tests are hard." I don't really have the time or the money to screw around. I started the semester with like $300 in my checking account, and now have just shy of $100. And I had to buy books with some of that. :upset: But I might be getting a job in the lab that pays $10/hr. :glad: That probably won't help me get drunk though. I just don't get it. I'm weird.
