Didnt ACDC play infront of a humungus (sp?) crowd in Russia?
Monsters of rock '91? The crowd was insanally huge. |
Yer they played a free gig at moscow, for some charity reason I can't remember, if you have the Donington DVD, its discussed in the audio commentary.

*bump*
My Dad gave me his vinyl copy of High Voltage not so long ago, but the front cover it has is completley different to any other I've seen. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v196/Lord_Brummington/Vinyl/Picture047.jpg I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this cover? Is it the Aussie version? |

I've never seen that cover before. Ever. |
Personally havent seen that cover before, looks awesome.
I know they did have different covers for one or two albums for different country releases... |
I've done some research, and I've found out its the original European sleeve design.
So I'm guessing there must've been 3 sleeves for the album - Aussie, European and Rest of World, with Europe getting the R.O.W sleeve not long after its original one was used. Edit: Just found that its listed as: Cartoon Sleeve, Dark Green/Orange label, released 14th May 1976. |

No I think thats how its spelt.
|
i like them. Angus is one of my favorite guitarists.
|
Hes good, but not great. Still good for the occasional listen, but I am nowhere near the fan I used to be. I am thinking about getting Flick Of The Switch on vinyl though.
|
does angus still get carried on the shouldours of the singer?

I always thought that was funny. Espicially since Angus looks like a little kid; he's like, just over 5 feet tall! |

5'3'' to be exact. Hey I was thinking of starting an ac/dc tribute band here in cali. I was thinking of naming it Thunderztruck but saw that someone here already had that as their user name. Any other name suggestions? |

i love acdc and thats all that matters to me. angus is one of the greatest guitar players ever. he knew how to rip a guitar. and there songs were very catchy and pretty dang good. they didnt all sound the same to me either. maybe in the sence that they were all hard core and fast

I've heard rumors for probably the last 2 years that they're releasing a new album. I tend to get a little skeptic after a while. |
