I had a totally cooler Megadeth t-shirt than any o' you! Unless of course, one of you guys have it as well. Vic was on the front struggling with a bunch of demons...Anyways, I sliced it up and made a backpatch out of it. I've since retired that vest though.
As a matter of fact, here it is... the shirt. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33007&item=7506555155&rd=1
I've seen that shirt before. I wanted to pick up a shirt when I saw them live, but I was out of cash. :( Oh yeah, I borrowed a friends copy of Youthenasia. It's pretty good, but not as good as say, Countdown to Extinction. |
I'm not very keen on Countdown To Extinction :-/

I was in a mall that sold all kinds of funky shirts and band shirts, the only Megadeth ones were Rust in Peace with the biohazard cymbal on the back and the Peace Sells T-shirt with "What do you mean im not kind...just not your kind" written on the back.....I got the RIP one, needless to say...
Anyways about the lyrics to "Im My Darkest Hour", the only lyric that may resemble to Cliff's death is the last set of lyrics..... "My whole life is work built on the past But the time has come when all things shall pass THIS GOOD THING PASSED AWAY" |
I will be sure to get a Deth shirt on Friday when i see them. :D
|
yeah do so, you need to show how cool you are...
I now want a RIP shirt... |
ive got a peace sells shirt, but ill probly pic up another 1 at the concert on sat night in melbourne.....cant wait
|
Yeah, I only have the Clockwork Orange 'Deth t-shirt, but like most people I'll pick up another one on Saturday.

i only have two t shirts vic burning in hell (long sleeve)and vic on a cross of skulls with knives running through him it is pretty bad but i had to drive to mexico to get.
|
i think that phrase in IMDH has to do with his work he put in on his relationship with the girl he wrote the song about, and how now the relationship is over.
found a baddbooty 'mary jane' t shirt on ebay last night. would fit me too, think i might own it. |
yeah i have seen that shirt where vic is crawling out of a grave that is pretty sick i thought.
|
I dont know if anyone has asked this before but what got you into Megadeth ?
For me it must have been listening ton The Conjuring at full volume (try it out) By the way does anyone know if the current line-up is temporary, no offence to the band but if Friedman and Menza came back we could expect some serious ****. |
Probably my bass teacher teaching me the "Peace Sells" riff.

Marty's out in Japan, so I doubt that he would come back either. It's probably best that Marty doesn't come back into Megadeth, as he's into the J-pop scene now. Ha, I have the Conjuring live on my Hangar 18 7" Vinyl, it's a classic. Hmmm, thing that got me into Megadeth was listening to Youthanasia on tape, which I stole from my stepdad. |

At first I was just a casual fan liking songs such as Symphony, Sweating, Trust.....but then I heard Dread and The Fugitive Mind, when I heard that double bass part for the first time it all started.....then watching Behind The Music put me right into them....

I found out about Megadeth because it was Dave Mustaine's band, and I knew a little about Dave from his time in Metallica. I just thought, hey, he was in Metallica so lets see what Megadeth is like and I went and bought SFSGSW. Never looked back.

Ha, I have the Conjuring live on my Hangar 18 7" Vinyl, it's a classic.
ive got that to, i bought it unused in an old rcord shop here in sweden. Man if only Megadeth were back to playing big arenas (when i saw them in Stockholm there were only about 800 people there and even i was right next to the stage it could have been more people there). |
Only 800 people? That must suck for Dave.
|
used to like megadeth when i heard peace sells...
but then i bought rust in peace! now i love megadeth, that album is their best imo, it features friedman's best playing with megadeth |
Yep, RIP>Everything
|
Go vote Marty, Chuck has no chance.

That's how much it is here in Toronto too. I don't want Megadeth to play in arena's. Chances are I'll get a seat far back, and even if I get close, getting out/home is a bitch, and moshing isn't as good in an arena, I think. |
I live in arizona so all we have is an arena and on megadeth shows it is packed and huge mosh pits
|
I went to arizoina this summer and played a few gigs and it was awsome. The parties were really great too and I hardly saw any cops which made the trip even more awsome!
