Amazing movie.

Robert Crumb 05-05-2006 03:20 PM

There's a Greek Theater in Berkeley, I think. Pixies played there.

Also I've seen Radiohead live and I'm not a big enough fan to really care so hahaha. They were nice.

I just saw the film, "United 93". It's a masterpiece. One of the most relevant and important movies I've ever seen.

Glitterati 05-05-2006 05:57 PM

I decided I don't like ska anymore.

When I saw it, grown men left the theater crying. It was pretty powerful. Oliver Stone's movie, in contrast, will probably suck ass.

The Great Decay 05-05-2006 06:14 PM

What is that film about?

Robert Crumb 05-05-2006 06:24 PM

It's about the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania on 9/11.

i was actually going to post the link to ignore dei in this thread, for the benefit of all. however, it logs me out whenever i go to a user's forum profile, so i'll just say: go to "User CP" and manually type "dei" into the ignore list box. fun for everyone :)

dei 05-05-2006 06:28 PM

I'll stop being annoying.

The Great Decay 05-05-2006 06:33 PM

Have any of you seen "The Last Days"? If so, how was it?

br3ad_man 05-05-2006 07:27 PM

I think I'm going to have a nice day. It will consist of watching some movies, finishing an assignment and reading a book.

My review of Pink Moon.

I assume you're talking about the Gus Van Sant film. It's not particularly interesing. Most of the film involves the main character Blake (aka Kurt) wandering around in the wilderness and passing out in drug-induced hazes. Kim Gordon's cameo was cool though.

" Yeah, I work at PARTAY CITY!!! YEAAAAH!!!!"

Then it's like, "Oh shit , that sounds fun." Then I'd tell them I sell Star Wars Napkins and Finding Nemo pinatas.

Little Man being Erased 05-06-2006 08:05 AM

I just finished watching Domino. I thought it was pretty rad. And Tom Waits makes an appearence! Along with Keira Knightley's breasts.

But anyhow, I had to listen to some Tom Waits after that. "16 Shells from a 30.6" is probably my fav Tom Waits song. It's so fucking awesome. I saw a live clip of him doing that song the other week, anyone else seen it? Cool shit.
