Yeah, our whole year signed up to a Yahoo usergroup to keep track of each other, which is cool.

PaulR 11-05-2004 10:00 AM

Heh, that sounds like a really cool idea.

Accentopus 11-05-2004 10:02 AM

supercalifragilistic 11-05-2004 10:06 AM

I'm looking at some Ibanez basses right now but they've got so many models and I can't find out how much they cost. I've got around 500$. Any suggestions please??

Wintermute 11-05-2004 10:06 AM

It's sort of like a pre-emptive free Friends Re-united
where exactly in Egypt? (I imagine somewhere near water since he's a SCUBA-man)
The east coast, on the Red Sea. Prime diving area, really beautiful, or so I'm told. (By my Dad, who was also a professional SCUBA diver at one point).

This was the first image a Google search pulled up :

supercalifragilistic 11-05-2004 10:21 AM

wow looks really nice. Tell him to drink water from bottles the first months or he could get diarrhea (srry if spelling's not right.) That happened to my best friend when he was in Egypt.

EDIT: oh oh oh :amaze: I got the 1000th post!!! Yay :D :chug:

neal_672 11-05-2004 10:53 AM

It says you've only got 58 posts

Saitoku 11-05-2004 10:56 AM

I'm still not sure how this reputation thing is working. How do I know if someone else has a high reputation?

supercalifragilistic 11-05-2004 10:56 AM

yeah I know I'm still teh n00b. But what i meant whas i got the 1000th post in this thread.

Wintermute 11-05-2004 11:03 AM
I'm still not sure how this reputation thing is working. How do I know if someone else has a high reputation?
Assuming someone has 90 days and 1000 posts under their belt, for each 1000 stars they get, they get a star under their name.

Saitoku 11-05-2004 11:06 AM

You need 1000 posetive reputation points to get one little star???

Wintermute 11-05-2004 11:07 AM

Yep. Bear in mind that Medapolis has 4 stars already.

Accentopus 11-05-2004 11:09 AM
Yep. Bear in mind that Medapolis has 4 stars already.
Yeah but isn't he a newly awarded MoD

Saitoku 11-05-2004 11:09 AM

So when someone gives you a positive rating that's one point, right?

Wintermute 11-05-2004 11:10 AM

No, otherwise he'd have 5 stars.

If any of the sections he frequents ever need a mod he's the likely bet though.

Wintermute 11-05-2004 11:10 AM
So when someone gives you a positive rating that's one point, right?
Yes, but a Mods rating counts for 200, either way.

Saitoku 11-05-2004 11:13 AM

Wow, so if you give me a positive rating I get 200 points, eh???

Hey, Mute.... how things going for ya, buddy? :naughty:

Accentopus 11-05-2004 11:15 AM

Yeah, Winter i did give you some Victor afterall

Saitoku 11-05-2004 11:17 AM
