Getting an album early won't ruin any experience I have with it. I think i'll wait to d/l it in full, so long as it's all good quality there's nothing detracted from hearing it.

If anyone wants to send me the full album, go for it. So long as it's in 128kbps or higher, preferably higher.

I'll be buying it as soon as it comes out too. When I get it i'm going to bed, I feel a little ill, so I'm just going to curl up and stick the album on and drift.

Kage, it was the fact that i'd checked all my sources about 30mins ago and got nowhere. There is normally a sign that it's leaked even if i can't grab the actual leak...but if you look below i think it may have leaked.

If you're not talking sh!t...which you might just be...i've had a browse around and can see some legit looking torrents about...will you upload for us all...a megaupload link should sort everyone out?

That's all fine and dandy, but at least when you get it, just sit down and listen to it and concentrate on it and really take it in. Instead of being preoccupied with being a dick on an online message board while you listen.

For me, it's all in the anticipation, finally buying it, coming home, looking and the artwork, and having new unknown sounds in my ears.

I don't think I'll listen to the first 30 seconds of that song. I really would prefer the whole thing, could you get someone to upload the whole thing, or put it on a more conveniant bit torrent site, like torrentspy or something.

No, I totally get what you mean, but so long as I have the full thing in good quality I'm going to really take it in and pay attention, I'm a huge Tool fan and the album deserves my full attention, repeatedly.

I just know i'd d/l a leak by any of my other favourite bands, it's nice to have things I've been waiting for as soon as possible, I don't feel like I need to prove anything by waiting, I've waited for quite a few albums in my time, and I don't feel it would enhance my experience. (Providing the leak isn't an old version of the album, etc.)

That's good. See, for me, it's like planning the last bite of a great cheeseburger. You want to have enough meat and cheese on there, and you don't want to take it too soon. You want to know when you're going to take that bite, and taking that bite unexpectedly too early will be very anti-climactic. I want to wake up the day the album comes out and say to myself "today's the day."
