They are not the most perfect. They may be the best, but most perfect? There are bands that're closer to perfect. (IMO)

Yea I won't defend that, it was a bold statment. I just well I've only been getting into them since December so their greatness is really sinking in.

See I used to think that way, but I mean there are very few bands that escaped their influence in some way.

But they made better music.

At the Gov't Mule concert they did a cover of a Neil Young song, "Cortez the Killer" I have never heard it so I didn't know some guy behind me told me.
The Mule version rocked so I'm sure Neil's is pretty good.

Yeah, John and Paul were the main songwriters.

George wrote about 2-3 songs per album.

Ringo usually didn't write any or maybe one.
