I read about, I actually didnt see it.
I never bought a naughty mag in my life. :-\
Haha, I'm just giving you a hard time.

I haven't either, actually.

the2stranger 08-07-2008 11:57 AM

I read about people who bought pr0n mags and all that stuff as if it's a normal part of being young.
Did I miss out? :-\

I never really got the thought behind watching images, when you can also watch movies.
Which is like 24 pictures a second. :p

Permanent Solution 08-07-2008 11:58 AM

I never bought magazines....the internet = free.

You probably didn't miss anything.

It's the same for me. Moving is better than still.

And it's 25 pictures/second on TV, 24 at the cinema. That is why Titanic is 11 minutes longer if you watch it at the cinema.

Dimmu Burger 08-07-2008 12:01 PM
Heleen van Royen.
Thanks! Google image search shows some good stuff.

Actually it's 30 frames per second on video and 24 on film.
Actually it's 30 frames per second on video and 24 on film.
Not in PAL. Then it's 25.
That's interesting.
I know...
and it still sucks for all those minutes
I wouldn't know, since I haven't seen it.

Dimmu Burger 08-07-2008 12:20 PM

What's PAL?

Crumpet 08-07-2008 12:21 PM

PAL was the robot in 2001 a space odyssey

Thor 08-07-2008 12:23 PM

Crumpet 08-07-2008 12:24 PM

Tyr 08-07-2008 12:24 PM
What's PAL?
An analog colour encoding system that has been used in a large part of Europe. North America uses NTSC. However, a lot of countries in the EU have changed from PAL to DVB-T, a digital encoding instead.

FreeSmells 08-07-2008 12:25 PM

I'm going to start spelling color 'colour'.

Dimmu Burger 08-07-2008 12:26 PM

Oh ok, thanks Tyr! They didn't teach us about PAL in broadcasting school, just NTSC.

encmetalhead 08-07-2008 12:27 PM

Tyr beat me to it but meh
Oh ok, thanks Tyr! They didn't teach us about PAL in broadcasting school, just NTSC.
I learnt about it when I was a teenager and wanted to know why North American video games were incompatible with European consoles.

Interesting. :p
I didn't know that.

So that probably means 3 seconds more teets of Kate Winslet on the screen.
:D
Thanks! Google image search shows some good stuff.
Welcomez.
Enjoy.

Tyr 08-07-2008 12:38 PM

Yes, but you'd have to sit through the whole film at the cinema, and I don't think it's worth it.

the2stranger 08-07-2008 12:41 PM

I actually saw it at the cinema.
<_<
