Xiu Xiu is good stuff.
They have the whole 'melody and catchyness through noise' thing happening.
Songs like I Broke Up, Poe Poe, and Bog People get stuck in my head so easily.

Driving home from school is so enjoyable on nice days like today. I had my windows rolled down, my sun roof opened, and The Velvet Underground's "Rock & Roll" blasting. It completely dissolves any of the day's previous mishaps.

My work is really annoying. They always ask me if I can work extra shifts the day before they want me to do them. If they asked a week or at least 3 or 4 days in advance, I would be able to work something out, but I always have to say no and it makes me feel bad. Silly work.

Speaking of work, I need to find another job. Preferably a good one. I quit my crappy one last year. :p

So something kinda weird happened today.

I was walking down the halls of the school house with my friend Trent. And we saw this girl, who had black hair, black glasses, and a black Death Cab For Cutie shirt, exact as mine. It took a second to hit me, but I had just seen the female version of myself. It was really surreal for about ten seconds.

My school's battle of the bands are lame, we can't even stand. We are forced to sit down on the floor or in the bleachers and listen to the bands.

Yeah. A couple of the bands that play there are mosh-worthy. Last year a band wouldn't play because the crowd couldn't do anything.
