new drudkh album grew on me a bit, but its still pretty meh

not even close but i still liked it quite a lot but drudkh are my fav black metal band so i like everything they've done

I don't dislike it but its replay value has been meh for me.

The new Drudkh is a much better listen with headphones on, they did some really cool stuff with the production/layering that you don't catch on speakers (though it makes it even more obvious that they've been listening to tons of post-rock)

Furrow Of Gods is amazing, but Wind Of The Night Forests > any other Drudkh song.

Seems the hate towards [I]Handful Of Stars[/I] has subsided a bit..? :p I like it a lot.

Yeah, I liked the Wurzelgeister compilation as well. Especially the Paysage song. That song is the reason I wanted to hear the whole CD, lol.

I think Ron had the cover of the [I]Der Wanderer Über Dem Nebelmeer[/I] (the album is a tribute to the painting) as his avatar a while ago, so I think he's heard it already. The Agalloch song is not a metal song, btw. But really, the whole thing is great. The CD is this really well done mix between black metal and neofolk songs.
